I already mentioned my biggest problem with your sheet, in role and equipment. My other issue is that your character managed to fight against Carnage and not only surviving, but forcing it to flee. I know he almost didn't make it, and there was a long recovery period, but it does bother me.
I edited my sheet so that he is no longer the communications guy, and reformatted him into a more recon-focused agent with the capacity to perform repairs (to an extent) and patch jobs on the team's equipment.

Carnage is a tough cookie, so I get your concern. It wasn't really so much fighting against Carnage as it was dying against Carnage, until getting slammed into the bell gave him the idea to use it as a weapon. That was the only point in the entire confrontation that Colvan managed to actually cause pain to Carnage, and the only reason he survived is because he managed to keep ringing the bell until Carnage decided it wasn't worth it and escaped. By the time Carnage could have returned to exact his vengeance, other law enforcement had moved in and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team was being extracted.

Carnage isn't an idiot, why in God's name would he slam him against a bell? That's like Superman slamming someone into a mound of Kryptonite. Someone that isn't Zod.

While I was thinking (generally) the same thing, I admit all applicants required a bit of luck to survive their respective encounters. Admittedly, Colvan had a little more luck than others, but if CJ has confidence in his defense, let him make it and I'll decide if it's good enough once the opening sheets close if he decides not to change it.

And again, I can handle responses. Calm down.

We all know your lifelong hatred of certain DC characters, both canon and non, but you've got to admit that Cletus is a bit of a masochist as well as the addition of him being a slightly more sadistic Marvel Joker without the funny...

Just so you know, as I'm not in the habit of reposting sheets with a few extra sentences tacked on, I updated the sheet a bit. Superhuman encounter and expanding on the submission parts a bit, but keeping the field interrogator part.

Name: Cynia Ryman

Gender: Female

Age: 35

Appearance: Cynia is a redhead with green eyes, of average height for a caucasian woman she has more weight than is average due to the extensive physical training she puts herself through as a part of S.H.I.E.L.D.

On mission she wears standard S.H.I.E.L.D. armor with a helmet, and off mission she wears a S.H.I.E.L.D. T-shirt and sweats combo with black combat boots unless she plans on leaving base for some reason. If going out into the civilian world she prefers a t-shirt and jeans combo with sneakers. She prefers to dress for practicality whenever possible.

Bio: She lived a relatively normal life punctuated by a strong sense of duty. Out of high school in New York she joined the police academy and signed up for the army. She was basically lost to the world for the duration of her schooling and training, but it paid off. She earned top marks and qualified for both SWAT and Special Forces. By the time she had fully settled in she was 25. SWAT had trained her in demolitions and the Green Berets had taught her technical expertise and had taught her the skills necessary to survive what would come later in her life.

After 6 years of service on both SWAT and Special Forces she got noticed by S.H.I.E.L.D. after having provided police support during the many, many, attacks on New York from various forces. Though what caught their attention was one specific incident.

She was providing SWAT assistance to S.H.I.E.L.D. during an attack by the Red Skull. He and HYDRA had gathered an army of supers, militias, and fanatics and was aiming to take the city as part of some plan to conquer the world Cynia never learned the specifics of. He had promised plenty of people plenty of power, one of whom was the Juggernaut. Well as it turned out the Juggernaut had fallen under their AoC and it was their job to keep civilians out of the line of fire and keep them out of the fight. Which was difficult at best considering they had HYDRA and the Juggernaut.
Secondary orders were to assist the heroes as they could, mainly by engaging HYDRA forces. She had done her job, getting civilians out of buildings and getting them into the subway to get out. Unfortunately for her, she was only armed with standard SWAT equipment, and bullets didn't exactly hurt the Juggernaut. So when a giant red shape came barreling through the building she was clearing she ran out of it as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it had seen her too.
Once out on the street she saw a group of dead S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, one of whom had an anti-tank weapon. She'd acted on instinct, she ran over to it and fired as soon as she saw the Juggernaut. It hadn't done any damage, but it staggered him long enough that she could get a head start. Cynia ran as fast as she could, occasionally turning back to pepper the juggernaut with bullets until she found an Avenger to take the heat off of her. She did what she could during the fight, but it was the moment that she caught their attention. It was the fact that she had run into the Juggernaut alone and lived to tell the tale.

She spent the rest of her time up until now cutting her teeth for S.H.I.E.L.D. working cleanup and rapid response as a member of the standard batch of units with great backgrounds but expected to die in the dozens. This is the first team she's been a part of where she is actually expected to leave the field alive with the rest of her team in the same condition.

Role in unit/Specialties: Demolitions/ Tech Support. While there is the main controller handling comms and doing the more complicated hacks and data transfers, Cynia is the one on the ground who will actually be hacking doors and handling sender side problems with hacks and data transfers. If there is a door who's security is too tough, then she'll just blow the damn thing open. She'd also the one who would handle bringing down a building or blow up a generator to let the main force in without activating a bunch of perimeter defenses.

Will we have access to any Non-S.H.I.E.L.D. tech - maybe some stuff that Stark either sold to us or got 'borrowed' without permission, or salvaged AIM or Hydra gear?

No. Just standard SHIELD tech. I did mention before the chance for a specialized item, but it can't be that fancy.
