Daft Punk ? Discovery
Mike Oldfield - Songs from a distant earth
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells III
Frank Klepacki ? Tiberian Sun OST
MoozE ? S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC OST
Vangelis - 1492 Conquest of Paradise
Brian Eno - More Music for Films
Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music for Airports
Lustmord - Heresy
Lustmord - Zoetrope
Lustmord - Purifying Fire
Marc Streitenfeld ? The Grey OST

There are a lot less than I thought there will be, because there is always that one song that just dosen?t fit, but even so I probaly missed some.
Just quickly pointing out a typo.

I do rather love Vangelis' main theme for that, but it's all I've heard of it.
Thanks, that was rather stupid, I don't even know how I managed to make a mistake like that.
Dude, I've made exactly the same mistake... only vocally, IRL.

It's just an instinct by now, when talking about historical years, to put "19" at the front - and 1492 is very easy to get wrong.

I find the lack of Ayreon here disturbing, considering I only found out about them thanks to this site. There are other albums that I like, I'm sure of it, I just can't think of them right now. Even my favorite band has their off songs on each album(seriously, Blood Red Summer killed the whole album, and that was their best album too), so I can't think of many that I can listen straight through with.
Ashamed that I forgot about Ayreon.

Glad to see Dark Side of the Moon on here so many times. Considering how hit-and-miss prog music can be, I feel like Pink Floyd was successful because they actually made sure everything on the album worked from start to finish.

I think a harder question would be to find a double album that's great from start to finish because even classics like Physical Graffiti, The White Album, and The Wall have skippable tracks.

Too many to list, though I'd argue that an album which is good all the way through but doesn't have anything mind-blowing to offer isn't necessarily a better album than something which has 8 masterpieces and and one shit track. For example, The White Album would probably be my favourite Beatles album despite the late inclusion of the abysmal and incongruous Revolution 9 and if I were making some kind of best albums evar list then Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak would probably be in my top 5, in spite of the fact that Running Back is basically rubbish because the other tracks on that album are just that damn good. Also, since so many people are mentioning Pink Floyd, I'd say I could (and have :3) listen to all their albums from and including Meddle to and including The Wall quite happily from start to finish.

Depending on what you like, these are some of my favorites that fit into this. My tastes are pretty old.

The Who - Quadrophenia
The Clash - London Calling
Yes - Close to the Edge
Elvis Costello - My Aim is True
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
The Beatles - Revolver
Boston - Boston
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Parliament - Mothership Connection

A couple of my favorite albums come really close but have those one or two tracks that I just don't like. Examples would be:

The Police - Reggatta de Blanc
Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
Joe Jackson - I'm The Man
Elvis Costello - This Year's Model
The Beatles - Revolver

This is gonna take a while, but it's fun to figure out the absolute *perfect* albums to my mind. Even had to leave out some of my favorite bands, like BÖC and GODFLESH, 'cause every album of theirs has a few parts I just don't like. Alright, let's see then...

Cold Body Radiation: Deer Twillight (2011) - One of my fave post-black metal albums. Can't hear a thing 'wrong' on it.
Eläkeläiset: Humppaelämää (2003) - Humorous Finnish folk rock band; this is their first (and so far only) album without any cover songs on it.
Eppu Normaali: Maximum Jee&Jee (1979) - Finnish people will get this choice.
Equilibrium: Sagas (2008) - This one is so consistently awesome, it's un-fucking-believable. Blackened folk/heavy metal at its finest.
IRON MAIDEN: Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988) - A true classic. Just greatness.
IRON MAIDEN: Brave New World (2000) - Includes some of the best solos I've ever heard in my life, and even some of the tracks I once thought were a little lacking, I've grown to love.
ISIS: In the Absence of Truth (2006) - I was immediately impressed the first time I heard the first ten seconds of this album, and it never let up.
JESU: Jesu (2004) - Just perfect mood throughout. Even the extra tracks fit in nicely.
KILLING JOKE: Democracy (1996) - Holy fuck. This band flew under my radar for too long. Perhaps because it's buried 'underground'.
Leningrad Cowboys: Happy Together (1994) - Such a pleasure to the ears all the way through.
M83: Digital Shades Vol. 1 (2007) - Total synth bliss.
MOGWAI: The Hawk Is Howling (2008) - Consistently majestic post-rock. Also, special guest: Roky Erickson.
MONO: Hymn to the Immortal Wind (2009) - Such an emotional record. Post-rock with orchestrals.
port-royal: Dying in Time (2009) - Atmospheric electronic music with constantly shifting beats. I love how non-danceable it is.
RUSH: Power Windows (1985) - Very underappreciated. Not even a mediocre track on here.
SAXON: Innocence Is No Excuse (1985) - Heard it as a little kid. Still love it.
Slowdive: Just for a Day (1991) - Classic shoegaze. A dreamy quality.
sólstafir: Köld (2009) - Intensely emotional, charged. Even the droney moments don't bother me.
STAM1NA: Stam1na (2005) - A different kind of beast. So enjoyably thrashy and beautifully melodic.
STRATOVARIUS: Visions (1997) - Proggy power metal with ingenious compositions.
Wuthering Heights: Far from the Madding Crowd (2003) - Ultra-melodic folk power. So energetic.
ZERO HOUR: Specs of Pictures Burnt Beyond (2006) - Insanely technical without sacrificing emotional expression. A perfect balance. The vocalist, Mr. Salinas, is also right up there with the legendary ones, in my opinion.

I'll try not to just list all of the albums I listen to
Electric Light Orchestra- Time, No Answer, Face the Music, El Dorado
Tears for Fears- Sowing the Seeds of Love, Songs from the Big Chair
A-ha- Hunting High and Low, Scoundrel Days
Everything by Pink Floyd rules beyond comprehension
Yes- Fragile, Close to the Edge
Simon & Garfunkel's whole library is consistently good
Grizzly Bear- Veckatemist
Santana- Borboletta, probably more (haven't listened to a lot from him)

I'm probably overlooking some slightly unremarkable songs in some of these but the albums overall are all really good

Alexisonfire - Crisis
Amon Amarth - Surtur Rising
Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Arch Enemy - Rise of the Tyrant
Cradle of Filth - Midian
Deadmau5 - 4x4=12
Disasterpiece - Fez OST
Eric Clapton - Unplugged
Foster The People - Torches
Florence and the Machine - Lungs
Gorillaz - Demon Days
Green Day - American Idiot
Maximum the Hormone - Buiiki Kaesu
Parov Stelar - Live at Roxy Club
Rammstein - Reise, Reise
Scar Symmetry - Holographic Universe

All of the albums I can listen to from start to finish time and time again, I love them so much.
Coincidentally, several of these are meant to be played from start to finish, a lot of the songs lead into each other.

Edit: I would have put in Foo Fighters and System of a Down albums as well, but I like just about every single song each band has done, so it would be really spammy, lol.

Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals - Pink Floyd

Deadache by Lordi, god there are some kick ass tracks on that album.

Disclaimer: Though I said "some" they are all good, it's just that some of the tracks are a bit slow for my taste.
