If anyone lives in the New England area, they recently made a US-BOSTON download server, which you can change to under the "Downloads + Cloud" tab in your settings. (The settings window you get when you click "change name")

It's getting fairly decent download speed because most New England people are still using the New York server. (About 1 MB/s)

They will probably fix it soon. I just tried getting the game but the servers were too busy.
