I thought of the protagonist from Timeshift. His first guess was "F.E.A.R. point man" and his second, (after I earlier answered that it was NOT a fallout 3 character) was "Vault dweller from vault 101".

Fun sidenote, after I answered Yes to "is it a scientist?", the next question was "Is it a half life character?"

I also tried for Rei Miyamoto from High School of the dead. He never got he right, and when giving me a list to look at, she was there.

After 3 tries it got Jim Carrey right.

He doesn't know anyone from The Doomspell Trilogy by Cliff McNish.

The trick to beating him is to find really obscure literature. Movies, games etc are all too well known, but books can really easily slip under the radar. Of course, I just taught him a few from TDT, so maybe soon others will.
