I had a party in the holidays which involved dressing up and getting utterly smashed. The theme was 'obscure'.

Obviously I felt that there was no option other than Gothcat, the Gothic cat.

I'm doing Marten from Questionable Content this year! I was originally going to do a black metal guy but I don't have enough leather or metal studded clothing. Plus, Marten is easy: "teh" shirt, black hoodie, jeans and a guitar over my back.

I'll post a picture tomorrow once I actually put everything on.

You're avatar is not animating. Quick question (and I can virtually guarantee this is it): Is your avatar bigger than 85x85? If it is, the site is adjusting it automatically and when the site does that, you lose the animation. If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, kick me a copy of your file (link to photobucket or something) and I'll take a looksy

I grew my beard to the Iron Man 1 look (and will be coloring it black when it's go time tomorrow). I feel it's pretty damn bad-ass and I will post a picture shortly...

I have two costumes this year, one for tonight with my housemates, and one for going out tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm going out as a taken from alan wake. Some grey body paint, some black trails running from my eyes, mouth, nose and ears, a plastic hard hat, a hi vis jacket, and of course, a crappy toy sickle. I'm pretty sure that only one or two people will "get" it, but hopefully it'll look cool anyways.

Tonight, the theme's "dead disney". Not having many ideas for cheap costumes, I settled on "The guy who killed bambi's mum".

Wanna improve on it some more since I think it didn't turn out so bad. So I'll probably reuse it for another anime convention of some sort. Pretty much 90% of the costume elements shown are from recycled materials.

I just received a Team Rocket themed T-shirt. I have a black ball cap. I'm going to try and make an improvised Team Rocket uniform for the party I'm going to tomorrow. If I'm not completely embarrassed by it, I might just get post a picture of it.
