[HEADING=1]ALL HALLOWS EVE APPROACHES, MORTALS[/HEADING]

So, how do you plan to spend it? I think I'll see if I can dig up a spooky horror DVD from the depths of the terrifyingly draughty and spider-infested garage. Wooo-ooo-oooh.

Working... at least I can annoy my co-workers with Halloween tunes.

At the moment, looks like I'll be mainly hiding in fear of this:

That gif is the perfect blend off oddly soothing, and mind shatteringly creepy.

Oh, and my plan is set. Five of us are getting together, and we're each bringing a really nasty horror flick none of the others have seen. I know that one of them is bringing Grotesque, another Audition. I'm bringing A Serbian Film. I have no clue what the other two are going to be, but honestly I'm already a little disturbed.

I'm making chili.

How I'll spend it? The same way I spend it every year - ignoring it, as I don't observer this holiday.

Technically, a friend is going to come over and we'll have KFC and watch a movie and stuff, but that's completely incidental - he doesn't observe Halloween like me and the plans were just for Saturday. It just happens that it's the same date.

I don't think I'm doing anything else noteworthy on that date.

I'm not sure if I'm going to dress up, or attend any parties, as I'll like likely be in the "can't be arsed" camp for both. I live in a place where we almost universally don't get trick or treaters so meh. I'll probably do some drinking, play Dark Souls, and consume an unhealthy amount of sweets.

Working and then possibly working on some projects for other people.

I will be doing my Halloween stuff on Friday, which is drinking and playing something.

I really don't do anything on that day since I'm really not all that into parties, and I want to make sure that no one comes to my door to upset the dog. He doesn't need an existential crisis every time someone either knocks or rings the doorbell.

I'm kind of annoyed that Halloween has become such a big deal and taken over from November 5th as the big night. Playing dress up is fun and all, but bonfires and fireworks is more primal!

Edit: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/10/14/american-british-halloween_n_4096514.html says it pretty well

I wasn't going to do anything because I don't care.

But then I thought, I might get drunk and walk around town naked. That would be a truly horrifying sight for everyone.

No costume, no parties, live in the woods so no candy to give out.

So I'm going to sit down with some popcorn, watch movies, and break my diet to eat one of these massive bastards.

Not that size, though. I got the big one, which is about the same as three of those pictured.

Well, evidently I may have caught some super disease from the hospital, so I have to quarantine myself away from society for a few days (no joke). I assume it's some form of mecha-ebola. So... watch horror movies while hoping I don't die?

Best way to spend Halloween, I guess.

I'm at work on halloween and we've all been told to dress up. I'm going as a silent hill nurse. I have to make the mask, I have no idea what I'm doing! I've got some white latex, a load of toilet roll, a load of kitchen roll and a whole load of bandages.

What do? anyone know? I've googled and it makes no sense to me.

"It's fun to dress up. Not all the time, but sometimes. Ehhh...not this time."

That definitely sounds like something Harley Quinn would say. Yeah, I think I prefer November the 5th more for its pyrotechnic displays; everyone in the neighbourhood comes out to chat and set off some fireworks at night. 'S'lovely, really, pretty great.
