I'm kind of annoyed that Halloween has become such a big deal and taken over from November 5th as the big night. Playing dress up is fun and all, but bonfires and fireworks is more primal!

I think next year I'll get one of those smartphone costumes, and load those for my eyes and mouth!

 

[Tuesday Night Fever]

On Halloween each year I marathon horror movies that I've never seen before. I try to pick one long-running franchise and marathon all of them, or just a bunch of assorted movies if I can't find a franchise that can fill a full day that I'm unfamiliar with. This year I'm going to be watching all seven of the Saw movies back-to-back.

I saw the first one back when it first came to video, and I remember liking it. I've never seen any of the sequels, and I've heard very mixed things about them. Picked up all seven on Amazon in a single collection for $7, so I won't be too disappointed if I end up not liking any of them.

I doubt it could be worse than last year's Final Destination marathon, anyway.

I just picked up Dead Rising 2 and Binding of Isaac both of which I've never played on steam for a few bucks so I'll be doing that. Also candy.

Well, I'm probably going to sit at home watching videos and stuff. I suppose that since I'm basically a real-life lookalike to Daria from her self-titled show I can just say I'm in costume as her this year, though if I do that I might as well live like her as well and get a nice hot pizza.
