Alliance VS Horde

They've really become mostly the same ever since faction transfers and the like. Both sides have their well-balanced and genuinely fun fun people to play with. Both sides have the players that make you spam the ignore button within three seconds of meeting them.

That being said, FOR THE HORDE!

Eh... I was Horde until I quit shortly after cataclysm, never cared for the PvP or rivalry though.

The only thing you need to determine this is the mounts.

Horde: Giant wolves, skeletal horses, raptors, rocket cars, kodos, and those bird things, which are last, because they are least.

Alliance: regular horses, giant sabertooth cats, tiny mechanical ostriches, elephant-like things, rams and, well thats actually all.

Whichever set you think is cooler, thats the faction to go with. Btw, horde towns and cities look hellishly mean nowadays, which is a nice change from the primitive hut look, alliance didn't get such makeovers.

Both sides are filled with retards but I like my retards in Horde form. It also helps that the alliance side seems to have more idiot players. I could just have been my luck but it left me more annoyed than anything.

Back when I played, I was Horde mostly for aesthetic reasons...The characters just looked so much cooler. (I was a Tauren Druid and a Troll Shammy, and I also loved the Dino-mounts!)

I want to create a program that lets Alliance characters talk to Horde characters, and vice-versa. I'll roam Azeroth making peace between the warring factions!

That's actually against the Terms of Service. I remember like a year ago waiting for the patches to finish downloading, i read through all that small print.
"Any such action translating the different languages in the game is a bannable offense" or some crap like that. There's a lot of other crappy rules too...

Speaking of which, there're already translation sites.

Some one just told me Thrall got killed man that shit is messed up. Last time I visted Azeroth the Orcs were doing Ok Humanity was living on some big island the west was taken over the undead and my dude Arthas was rocking the Frozen Throne. Whats been going on?

Honestly, I like the Horde better than the Alliance since Humans and the like are kind of racist assholes, but I'm loyal to Night Elves above all, so I play Alliance.

I've found that in vanilla Horde > Alliance. In both maturity of the players and PvP dominance.

But when Blood Elves where introduced I found that a large majority of Horde became immature and the Alliance became the more mature faction, Horde still did better in PvP.

Now I've been playing WoW a bit and I find that Alliance are more mature, Horde still win most of the Battlegrounds except Alterac Valley, but Alliance are alot better in the Looking For Dungeon system (Less idiots...) and have shorter Battleground queues (1 minute versus Hordes 30-40 minutes)

Though Horde still look infinatly more awesome >.>

*Sigh* I'm a Horde guy stuck in a Worgens body... (When The Burning Crusade expansion was released all my friends switched to Alliance to escape all the idiots that the Blood Elves brought)

OT: I don't give much of a fuck either way. I play mainly Alliance now, but that's because on nearly every EU PVP server they are outnumbered to shit, meaning the BG queues are shorter. There seems to be some misconception that the Alliance always lose, I haven't noticed this, and even if I do lose, it's quicker waiting 10 seconds to join for a loss than waiting 10 minutes to join for a win.

Plus, the whole game becomes more difficult on outnumbered sides, you get ganked in questing zones, everything is overpriced, and the Auction House has nothing; I like it. On the server I was playing on, there was about 10 glyphs in total on the AH. It was awesome, and I really like the Gnome race now, running around in plate with two two handers that are bigger than my body size is badass.

I don't know if it's just me, but the Alliance always seem more friendly. I've made loads of friends on the server(s) I've played on, but I only seem to make enemies on the Horde.
