Alpha Protocol Gets Pre-Order Bonus Items

I think its a nice touch, I can't imagine many people will pre-order because of it but it rewards those who have faith that you'll game will be good

I've known far too many people who were slightly interested in a game who preordered something just for an edge on their opponents.

Also, pre-order items should be cosmetic only - anything that has an effect on gameplay will either be pointless and so crap noone will use it or so powerful the richer players will have all the advantages. At least cosmetic items only change the look of a player...

Or you can just get the PC version. If getting the new weapons isn't as simple as pressing the tilde key and typing something in, I guarantee you someone mods both packs into the game within 2 days.

Wait, what did Insomniac do? I know Sucker Punch did that with InFamous where you get a special power if you ordered it at Gamestop (and let me tell you, the Gigawatt blades are USELESS), but I'm unfamiliar with Insomniac doing this.

Anyway, I hate preorders like these, I prefer bonuses like a funny costume or something. Something that has no effect on the overall gameplay.

The official website [http://www.sega.com/alphaprotocol/] is very helpful in letting me know where I can pre-order online (Amazon.co.uk and GAME) but I haven't found any word on bonus stuff yet...

If you read it though(more specifically the comments)Insomniac say that the pre order bonsuses you don't get will find their way into your game somehow, how I'm not sure but they will.
