I think you've summed it up for yourself. If you find it funny for those reasons (Im the same) then thats fair enough, if you're just laughing because "herp derp its a black guy" then you're just being stupid.

I wouldn't say you are a bad person for finding it funny. I also find it funny, I got the PS3 cover of Carl on Duty myself, stored in my picture folder because I found it on Bobs House of Video Games (a part of the I can haz cheeseburger/Failblog sites). It's obviously meant as a joke.

Yeah, it made me laugh. It was pretty funny. Most of Reginald VelJonson's acting roles involve him being a cop, and it works for him. Whenever I see him, I always think of Family Matters, Die Hard, and, though he doesn't play a cop in this, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.
