I was accused of cheating WAY back when Jedi Knight had an online community. I found the perfect timing of a lightsaber slash while running past someone and had a good handle on the lag so that I could take someone out with a single strong slash.

To be fair, there was alot of cheating going on at the time, but it wasn't me. There were people with pistols modded to shoot rockets and crap.

When it had? There are still a couple of hundred between mods and the main game.

My bad, I didn't know. How about back when the Microsoft Game Zone?

Yeah, I was referring to Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. 3D acceleration was supported but not required. 1997...

Edit: Jedi Outcast/Academy are sequels to it.

Fighting games bring out the worst in people, end of story.

Even if you beat them fair and square, you'll still get the "ZoMgZ! You crap cheatar! lolol!"

People are yucking online when it comes to fighting games.

There was an incident when I was playing Gunbound (after seeing it in a VGCats strip), and I got a few lucky shots off on someone. They cried, "He's using an aim bot. Boot him," or something to that effect that was horribly misspelled.

O.K Escapists, I need your help. Recently I was playing Super Street Fighter IV Online. I won a match, only for my opponent to e-mail me saying, and I quote "Fuckin *****, with the ultra in the link."
Now this may just be someone being petty, because as far as I'm aware I didn't cheat. I don't even know what that message was supposed to mean!
So I ask, to anybodies knowledge, did I commit some sort of Street Fighter sin?

And for discussions sake, has anyone ever been in a similair situation?

Playing to win. Clearly this guy was a Scrub. My suggestion keep playing get higher rated, keeps you from playing scrubs.

@everyone who complains about only fireballs.
Learn, adapt, over come. Especially in ssf4 there are a bunch of ways around someone who just fireballs. Even more so depending on the character your playing.

Rotten scumbags.

They have a point, never under ANY circumstances should a RDR player EVER use the High Powered Pistol or the Buffalo Rifle!

Well, at the time I had neither unlocked, and I'd picked them up from the spawn-campers when I managed to kill one of them.
Also, I only use the gun for gang hideouts and the occasional versus match.
