OP: I definitely don't think you're weird. I'm your age and I don't drive, nor have I trained for it at all. I've never smoked weed, but I did try a cigarette once. I rarely drink.

It's illegal in the US for me, and honestly the ramifications of getting caught (even if the chance is low) aren't worth a tiny buzz.

But you are right; people like that are relatively rare. Maybe 20% of the place I grew up in, at most.

Not intended to be used as an offense in this case. You are just being smarter than the average guy your age, I am around the same age as you (18 right now), and I don't do drugs or tobacco either, I'm a bit of a heavy drinker though.

Well, I'm seriously considering getting one. I want money for a couple of reasons, but the main reason is so I can have some lessons for guitar so I can get to a point where I can teach myself. It's kind of something I've wanted to do for a while.

Can we stop the self-aggrandizing threads, and the self-congratulatory back-patting now? People smoke, people drink, people do drugs, people fuck, and people occasionally scratch themselves in inappropriate places in public. Wow, someone needs to calm down. I'm not saying I'm something new and different, or any shit like that. I had merely noticed that amongst my friends, I'm an oddity/rarity. I merely wondered if it was like that just among my friends, or among all teenagers in general.

In conclusion: I'm...sorry for wondering something, and having the audacity to ask an online community about it?
