Dragon-who? I haven't heard anything by them to be honest. Doesn't sound much like my particular blend of Darjeeling though.
The Darjeeling Limited is a great movie, just so you know.
I know, I saw it ^^
I fucking love that movie.

Me too.
Oh, in case anyone didn't get it, "not my particular blend of darjeeling" is my (really pretentious) way of saying "not my cup of tea."

The Royal Tenenbaums > The Darjeeling Limited
I liked both alot, but I had more of a personal connection with The Darjeeling Limited, being that I have two younger brothers and I myself am the most ecentric of the three.

But this thread isn't about Wes Anderson films... atleast I don't think it is. I think it was about Dragons or some kind of non-sense. We should make a seperate thread to discuss his awesome dramadies.

Everyone around me seems to think that Dragonforce is the shit, yet all I hear are power chords and quarter notes being played really fast. I just need to know if anyone else sees this in the same way I do.
Taste is individual. What's good to you is shite to someone else, and vice versa.

I like DragonForce.

They played Belfast a few years ago and they were excellent.

When i left the place i was sweating buckets and my t-shirt had been ripped off my back.

Good night.;D

Well I'm going to see them live next month for some reason. I'm not even really that big a fan as all the songs sound the same and they totally screw everything up live anyway. Suppose it will be fun to see them staggering about on stage failing solos like a bunch of tits though.

I disliked them before Guitar Hero. Now I'm ambivalent. They're no Rhapsody... Though I don't particuarly like them either. I guess that's because I don't like metal. I appreciate that if you like power metal though, chances are you might like Dragonforce.

I was a fan of DragonForce pretty much when they released their first album. I loved the band at first, thought the speed they played at was hilarious. I then told my friends about the band and let them hear Fury of the Storm and My Spirit Will Go On.

They thought they were alright. When GH3 came out my friends came up to me talking about TTFATF and DragonForce, this great new band they heard recently. I got annoyed at them and told them I showed them DragonForce over a year before GH3. Suddenly DragonForce are the coolest band ever and I am no longer much of a fan of them since their songs are admittedly very samey.

I had no idea who they were, so I listened to a track online. Holy crap that's awful. Almost as bad as Shihad.
