Nice, just nice. Ya hit him once, he pulled a knife, you made him regret it. I don't see anything in the wrong. I know from experience that bullies just need to get their asses kicked.Smokepuddle said:So last week-end I was at a popular local band's show with a couple of friends when I saw the kid bullying my friend's younger brother so rather than warning him a fifth time i dragged him to an alley and punched him in the face once, he got up and pulled a knife on me so I warned that if he didn't put it away he would have to drag him self out of the alley. Unfortunately the little shit ignored the warning so when he lunged at me I broke his arm and ran his face against the fence in the alley. Needless to say he was on the ground crying when I walked out of the alley.
Yeah, no. It is you who picks and chooses what to reveal and what not to reveal. Like, for example, the reply to one of the said multiple replies to the same post... did you look for that? NOOOOOOOO! If you did you wouldnt have opened your big mouth. I will let you go and look for it, its not my job to teach big headed idiots common decency.SinisterSpade|LH| said:Kinguendo said:Uhuh.
"I dont recall getting this guys age"
Alright, so here is what happened, one of my friends' younger brother has been getting bullied all year round by another grade 9 kid
"And the knife thing... he said he lunged for him so he clearly didnt hurt himself, he had the knife out and lunged. They were in an alley where this chap had just punched the kid in the face... so he had to be in arms length... This guy dodged a lunge from a knife at arms length and then had his wits about him to also break the kids arm (bearing in mind this kid has a knife so he cant be waiting around all day to "break his arm") straight after he dodges... come on."
You're assuming the size of the alley. Do you know what happens when we assume, children?
We lose any credibility we could have had.
Also, I've seen far more amazing things done by my friends. His story is completely believable within the context.
But I kinda think you're a troll, seeing as you responded to the same post twice with different answers each time.
Anywho. Due to your lack of reading comprehension, and assumptions, you have lost any credibility you had to start with, and your opinion is now irrelevant.
Good day.
If you read my comments you would know I train in Muay Thai, see... I actually supply the information. You dont need to assume anything.Glademaster said:If you have ever done self defense at all you would know this is more than possible. Hey guys, did you hear? I took out a guy twice the size of me with a single punch, the doctors say I nearly killed him. Was that wrong of me? T_T
Did you say "Tough break, kid" after you broke his arm too?! XD
I just dont find this story to be believable at all.
Seriously... read the other comments...skeliton112 said:Well, after a hit people stagger so about two arms length, and lunge is just like a punch a shift and a palm strike to the elbow would have beaten that.
Jimmy... come on. 4k posts and you arent into the habit of getting the context yet... if you looked at the reply I got for that and the comment I gave back that would clear it all up.JimmyBassatti said:How can you compare that to the situation he told us? The OP's situation could possibly happen, but you are just being ridiculous just for the sake of it.
OP: Legally, you are in the right for defending yourself, but I'm pretty sure you committed assault, and threatening endangerment to someone else is also a crime, I believe. Mentally, though, I believe, you should feel a bit wrong for doing that to someone smaller than you.
He pulled a knife on you, so that meant he was either out to maim you or kill you, so you're completely in the right.Smokepuddle said:Alright, so here is what happened, one of my friends' younger brother has been getting bullied all year round by another grade 9 kid and me and my friend have told this kid four times that if he kept bullying my friend's younger brother we were going to beat him until he cried. So last week-end I was at a popular local band's show with a couple of friends when I saw the kid bullying my friend's younger brother so rather than warning him a fifth time i dragged him to an alley and punched him in the face once, he got up and pulled a knife on me so I warned that if he didn't put it away he would have to drag him self out of the alley. So I was just wondering was I in the wrong to do that? and do you think the little shit will be stupid enough to bully my friend's brother again?
Edit: The more important Question is do you think he's going to bully my friend's brother again?
Yes well I'm sorry Idon't have the time to read through and filter 6ish pages of comments to get to yours but all I am saying it that it is much more plausible than you made it out to be I am not saying that there aren't hole in it but it is well within the realm of the possible. You made it sound like he was talking about himself walking on water.Kinguendo said:If you read my comments you would know I train in Muay Thai, see... I actually supply the information. I just dont find this story to be believable at all.
You are filling in blanks that arent necessarily there... all I am doing is seeing that he wrote that he punched the guy in the face... and taking that as it is, meaning he had to be in arms reach.
And yeah, older than this bully... but not how much older. If he is a 25 year old guy beating up a kid... now it becomes pathetic. He could be a day older than him for all we know.
My comment was on the second page...Glademaster said:Yes well I'm sorry Idon't have the time to read through and filter 6ish pages of comments to get to yours but all I am saying it that it is much more plausible than you made it out to be I am not saying that there aren't hole in it but it is well within the realm of the possible. Not really, its his words against the kid And the kid pulled a knife. Ergo, he have proof of the attack with the knife which would give a push of credibility to his version. His version would be far more believable than the kid. Beside, it not like he wail on him afterward for a good Ten minutes, he just have a broken arm.AshPox said:Although, the kid with the knife did not start the fight, it was Smokepuddle who attacked first, so he would at least get in some trouble for that.Akalistos said:First, you totally gain GOOD KARMA for that. You won't get the Goul Mask, but still.
Secondly, I wouldn't have broke his arm. The problem is, if your a adult and do that to a kid, you'll be in flame faster than wearing a Uncle Sam costume in the middle east. No matter what you said, nobody will believe your word against the word of an "Innocent child". If not, well, your home free (except if he call his friends to get back at you). Beside, where did he pull that knife? If you are an adult, or your just a bastard, here is what you do next time.
First, you can pull him in the alley. They can't prove that you pull him there to fight. Second, what you did was correct. He attack you, You broke his arm, everything! Than, What i would do is take the knife and let the kid there. Next, you call a ambulance and the cop, declaring to be assaulted by the kid (before he do it). You give the deposition to the cop, the knife, and tell them where he is. Tell them everything: He is a bully that attack your friend brother, you wanted to make it stop and he lunge at you with the knife. The print on the knife take a few weeks, but they will identify the knife as (insert bully's Name here). Now, the bully is at the hospital, they have his knife, your clear because of self-defense, and the cops will open a case on the kid. Naturally, the cops will speak to his parents which will put him in a deep sh*t. Second, if they try to sue you, you'll have a solid case and the opportunity to counter-sue them. That kid will be punish by law and since he lunge at you with a knife, that Attempted Murder which will land him.... I'll stop there.
That would have given you Good Karma, a Hero Status and get rid of that Bully for a long time.
I'm a horrible person, am I not?
BWAHAHAHA that jerk needed his ass too be kicked, son!Smokepuddle said:Alright, so here is what happened, one of my friends' younger brother has been getting bullied all year round by another grade 9 kid and me and my friend have told this kid four times that if he kept bullying my friend's younger brother we were going to beat him until he cried.
