Happens to everyone eventually it seems. I got the same thing, barely play anything anymore and when I do it's always an old game that I know is good, or I play a total war campaign or an rpg which playtime has slowly spanned over the course of eight months. Eventually you have played so many games that the bad ones loose their appeal. When games where a new and fresh activity you where the reason games like Halo are so successful, but there is only so many bad or mediocre games the memory can take before it rejects them because the problem with bad and mediocre games is that they are nothing new. Video games are an odd ordeal, the think tank of hollywood can spit out a thousand generic action movies and we will still praise them individually as if they are each their own or if a comic book character is in them. But video games have a much harder time with this and an entire product that someone has slaved over can be written off as being nothing but another generic FPS.
