I doubt it, no one is ever "the only one".

I'm not, but the point still stands. I may get it if I hear it's good.

I'm counting down for a few games. Don't know why though, ^^^ is right about Skyrim being buggy on day one. And as for Gears, that's going to be put back at the last minute. The only sensible countdown im doing is Mass Effect 3.

I very much doubt it.

I am personally rather ambivalent toward the game, but plenty of people here are hyped for it.

If you go and"Am I the only one" on any public channel. You most likely with highest probability aren't.
Because If you go around the topics regarding Skyrim you'll notice that you aren't the only one.

I wouldn't call it obsession. You just clearly don't have anything better to do. Get yourself a game/book/hobby to fill the time and behold how the release date sees to be here quite bit faster.

I got the date written on my calendar also (even tho I am not going to buy it, I got other things in mind I need to do that day), am I as obsessed of it as you.

I generally start counting the days when there's about 2-3 months until release.

Well I don't see why you're counting to something in 7 months time, when you only need to count down 6 days for Portal 2!

No. I'm willing to bet that there were people 'counting down the days', in a manner of speaking, before it even had a release date. Considering that there are countless Elder Scrolls fans on these forums alone, and all the fans that constantly asked for a TES:V to be made for years, and complaining that it's never going to be as good as Morrowind, so no. You are not the only, and you will never be the only one.

But that's just me being all bitchy. I'm not too excited about it. I prefer Bioware over Bethesda, and am anticipating ME3 more, But I'll probably get a GOTY edition.

Am I the only one who wishes people would stop making these 'Am I the only one?' threads...

Of course there are other people who want it. Why ask a question with such an obvious answer?

'Hey guys, am I the only one breathing right now?...'

I'm sort of excited. I need a new computer to run it and if it uses steam I won't buy it period. Unless the xbox version is good.

Of course you're the only one. You're a wierdo, obviously. Why would anybody else ever be excited about an upcoming game? It's inconceivable! There is absolutely no way a single other person is as obsessed as you are and counting down the days. None.

Nope. Its another Bethesda game. It will be released broken, buggy and just not very good. So ya gotta add another 2-3 months after its release date for the quality mods to start rolling out.
I have hope for this one. It's not going to be on the Gamebryo engine so (hopefully) less bugs.

I actually spent about twenty minutes talking about how awesome Skyrim is going to be with a couple friends of mine today, so you're not alone.

I am actually really excited. At first I didn't like Oblivion, but I actually really liked it eventually, so yeah. Skyrim is probably my most anticipated game this year.
