Navi, but only because the big bad humans were bad...and big. But the only thing i rooted for was the general guy. That guy was fuckin' badass!
Amen to that.Paksenarrion said:There was really only one human I rooted for in that movie.
The Colonel.
I was hoping it would be the Reapers.Neverhoodian said:The cowboys (I mean humans) were greedy, bigoted assholes, but the Native Americans (I mean Na'vi) were boneheaded, condescending twats.
I reluctantly sided with the Na'vi in the end, but a part of me was hoping for a third race to show up and take out both factions.
This is not true at all, it only applies to be people asking for vague questions. I am the only one who knows my computers password, the only person typing on this computer right now and the only one who is replying to your comment on this topic at this exact moment.BonsaiK said:The answer to any question, ever, that begins with "am I the only one" is always "no".bart56912 said:i think it may be becuse the humans always win
We are only allowed to discuss recent things? Are you one of those people who like musicians and other things, but only when they are "in fashion" or something?TheYellowCellPhone said:why the fuck are we talking about this a year after the movie came out and over six months since the DVD came out?
*Cough*Thaius said:OT: I seriously do not understand why someone could possibly root for the humans. Outside of some sort of idiotic, "The good guys always win; the bad guys should win instead!" crap, there is seriously no reason. Perhaps the humans' goal was justified, but their methods involved fully ignoring any sort of peaceful negotiations and attempted genocide. In what universe is that okay?
Nope, I was with them all the way.NeutralDrow said:You haven't been here long, I take it. I'm starting to feel like the only one rooting for the Na'vi.

pretty much this, and this:Player Two said:I got sick of the heavy-handed green message around halfway through the movie, and after that I got even more tired of the "Ooh, you're destroying our sacred territory, what does this remind you of, nudge nudge." writing.
Despite that, I wasn't really going for either side - I mean, yes, the humans were supposed to be the bad guys, like just about every multi-species media these days (*cough* Dragon Age), but at least they had some bad-ass technology to gawp at. Personally I think both sides were run by stubborn, bigoted idiots, so there you go.
Basically: Plot = fail. The only thing that made it worth watching was the special effects, which were fucking awesome.
Well said my good man... well said...stygN said:I rooted for the Humans too.. You know why? The Na'vi are sick..
Remember how they make love..? Connect their pony tails..
Remember how they ride animals..? Connect their pony tails..
