Am I too White?

Me? I'm 16, enjoy classical (but usually more if it involves rock music), straight, and about as socially adapted as a rabbit in a hen house. If THAT isn't white, I don't know what is!

Just recently, I bought out the entire collection of Beethoven's music (in terms of 'Data', it would have to be around 18 GB's of MP3's I guess) and have most of them on my Phone to listen to while taking the Metro.

The thing is, I'm a 22 year old guy and straight. Yet after some of my friends finding out my music consisted mainly of violins and Piano's, they came to the logical conclusion that I am either very very 'Metrosexual', and when they found out it was a classical composer, they came to the new theory that I am 'White as white can be'.

So my question: Am I really 'too white'? Please note all responses will be recorded for QA.

Classical music has little to do with race. What was said above is like saying Blacks/Asians/etc can't enjoy classical music when they obviously can. It's great you like Classical music and I applaud you for it. I'm sure your friends are just commenting on what is different to make themselves feel at ease like weak-minded humans often do. Tell them to go back to their 'My Chemical Romance' and 'Lady GaGa' and you can be on your merry way.

I'm the same way, and I don't consider myself hugely white.

"Am I too white?" is a pretty silly question, I think. These people are just trying to tease you anyway they can. Also, Beethoven was good at what he did. I'm a big fan of Vivaldi, personally.

Seeing as all the great composers in history (composers like Wolfgang Mozart, Rachmoninoff, Ludwig van Beethoven, William Grant Still, and Danny Elfman) have been white, I'd agree with that assessment.

we'll need to know some other stuff about you. if we were all categorized solely by musical taste i would be a white scene looking kid with deathmetal hair.
