Crysis. For gods sake yes it's pretty but what else? It's still as bad as Far Cry when it comes to AI and such.
Loads of people have chosen this. I regret receiving this as a present. I got a horse and said i'd come back to it. I haven't and now I don't think I will.JakalMc said:Assassin's Creed. Got real old, real fast.
I beat all the story levels, unlocked all the mini game level ones. But I just got bored of it really quick thats all. Your welcome to enjoy the game I don't mind.Wargamer said:This, to me, rather sounds like someone saying "I played a hand of Poker and lost, so Poker sucks".RAWKSTAR said:Little Big Planet - raced through the game on the first play, nothing amazed me.
The editor didn't interest me either.
Little Big Planet cannot be 'raced through'. The 50+ standard levels are a combination of fun minigames, part collection, idea-generation and tutorial. The point of the 'single player' game is to give you ideas on how the Editor can be used, and get parts for said editor. The game itself is all about multi-player. LBP can never be completed. That's the point - you will NEVER beat every level, because there's always more levels just waiting to be built.
I'll put good money you never completed the Unbeatable Sackzuke level.
i remember i hated alone in the dark after the first act. Unfortunately my bro made me complete it.GCM29 said:'Alone in the Dark' for Xbox360 had me snoring within 30 minutes.

Assassin's Creed - I have the patience of a saint, but I couldn't take this... past the 3rd assassination... Jeez, I really do have a lot of patience don't I? o_o
Tutorials, read them.chronobreak said:Fallout 3, almost immediatly. Hey a pip boy! WTF is that? What do I do? Why are people shooting at me? Why are there so many dialouge options? Where's the menu? The map? WTF do I do?
My head exploded, and I put it down for Chrono Trigger DS.
Maybe I didn't notice the near 20 page manual the game came with. Or, as it says, the "survival guide", I believe. Trust me buddy, I read, and I read some more. And after that, it isn't a game, it's a lesson. And I already see plenty of those.Grand_Poohbah said:Tutorials, read them.chronobreak said:Fallout 3, almost immediatly. Hey a pip boy! WTF is that? Wow, that's pretty damn impressive. But I must have clocked about... 7 hours on it to get to the 3rd assassination. Then I wanted to play something less boring and grinding.WolfMage said:No, you really don't.SecretTacoNinja said:-Snip-

I was bored after the second assassination and still managed to beat it.
Me = 1 You = Probably a hell of a lot more than 1.
While that is a valid point when judging the game by its own merits, a game frequently labeled as "best game ever" by thousands of gamers worldwide should damn very well be able to hold up to what's released today. It comes down to a very simple correlation. If you enjoy another game more than the so-called "best game ever," regardless of when this other game came out, the "best game ever" really isn't.B-lockdown080 said:Depends on when you played. I played it when it first came out and since there werent that many RPGs i knew about at 7 i played through it. Well of course i enjoyed it very much and still like the story to this day(the materia thing gets boring after 3 or 4 playthroughs) Most of the haters are people who play it years after it came out and try and compare it with todays standards which are pretty high with all the next-genness to everything
Oh sorry I failed to realize simple on screen tutorials weren't in Fallout 3.chronobreak said:Maybe I didn't notice the near 20 page manual the game came with. I never labeled FF7 as the "greatest game ever". It will be among my top favorites forever but by no means is it perfect. I perfered it over some of the other ones because you didnt have to go on long training regiments just to get your characters up high enough to kill one boss. All the training sorta flowed with the story for me and i really HATE training(or building or living or whatever you wanna call it)with random encounters(another thing i coulda gone without)Miles Tormani said:While that is a valid point when judging the game by its own merits, a game frequently labeled as "best game ever" by thousands of gamers worldwide should damn very well be able to hold up to what's released today. I preferred FF9 to FF7 anyway.
As for what game bored me quickly, well. Aside from BioShock, I'd say Mario Kart Wii. It went from "Whoa this game has some awesome variety to it," to "Why is the wheel more responsive when I hold it and tilt it more like the Roll 'n' Rocker than a wheel?" to "Why do I have a piece of plastic on my Wiimote?" to "Why is Balloon Battle now Team Deathmatch?" to "This game sucks. All it is is a jazzed up slot machine." All within a single day where I returned it, THAT DAY, for GTA4.
EDIT: The only real part of Assassin's Creed that bored and annoyed me was the very end where you're constantly swordfighting. This is not a good idea for a stealth action game.
