So my Girlfriend preodered me a CD from amazon. They ended up shipping it on the release date which was march 24th. As of today she found out that they barely mailed it out and it should be here by Tuesday that's so fucked up them. Does anyone know a way to file a complaint or at least receive some sort comp cause that's really messed up. It took them 11 days to mail it out. She preordered in feb by the way.
I used to work for amazon.com headquarters in Kansas.
It's a HUGE building that covers about a mile of land.
I'm sorry that your order was screwed up. Doesn't surprise me either.
I quit after a few days, because the incompetance of the managers was intolerable.
The whole place is a never ending maze of merchandise.
They've basically got a bunch of drug addicts, ex cons, scumbags, etc working there.
Heres what I think happened:
A. Your CD has been ordered.
---------1. Your CD is now on a HUGE "To-Do" list.
---------2. Your CD remains unseen on this list for days.
B. Smug manager idiot finally sees your order.
---------1. Manager idiot programs your order along with about 100 others into a scanner.
---------2. Manager idiot gives the scanner to a "seeker", or random methhead.
C. Methhead is turned loose in the neverending maze of merchandise that is amazon.com
---------1. Methhead roams around, digging through stocked merchandise, going through a factory hell
---------2. Methhead gets lost among all the seekers looking for the merchandise.
---------3. Yes, the seekers is really what they are called.
D. Methhead finds your CD and decides he wants it more than you do, and shoves it down his pants.
---------1. At the end of the shift, methhead waits in the ENORMOUSLY LONG line to the metal detectors.
---------2. Methhead is busted at the metal detectors with your CD.
E. Your CD is placed in a large bin of "stolen merch" that is practically full because this happens every day.
---------1. Your CD remains in the "stolen merch" bin for days.
---------2. Paper work is filled out on the stolen CD, and charges are probably pressed.
---------3. Your CD is FINALLY shipped out, after swimming on the 27 mile long convayer belt they have in that place. (Yes, the place is so big they have 27 miles of convayerbelt)
Sorry for your inconvenience.
