I've got a dream that I'd like to have come true: to live in a nice house with my closest friends, and wake up each day to work with them on films, games, and other projects, and make a decent paycheck off of the job. I'd heard a saying once: If you enjoy your work, you'll never work a day in your life. That's a reality I'd love to live.

That right there. First in an 11 book series, of which the first 2 and 1/3 were written this year. There's a couple of other books I'm working on as well which I'm hoping to get out there soon enough so hopefully sheer volume will lead to recognition and money.
Either that or musical stardom.

With my future out in front of me, I have a wide array of possible tracks I can follow. My main idea centers around computer science to make it into the game industry as a programmer. With such, I would also do sci-fi/fantasy books on the side. I would like to do work with Black Library and the 40k universe.
If not, I would like to go into computer programming and do something around there. Possibly make game mods on the side to try and get into game industry.
Else wise, I could try bar tending (I'd have to learn how to first, of course). Or the military. *Shrug*
Nonetheless, I wanna get a life that keeps me satisfied and fulfilled. I would like a life where I'm in control of my own destiny, but I second-guess myself too much to be a leader... I'm okay with being a sheep, as long as I have an anonymous set of internet strangers I can talk to and express my inner feelings.

Funny this is what I'm trying to figure out right now.
I have a dream of living a dual life, the weekend job where I'm a successful sci-fi/fantasy author and can go to conventions etc. and the normal day to day job of using my newly acquired science degree to work on projects that have a positive impact on the world and peoples lives.
But right now I'll settle for getting a job more in my area of interest, and the hell out of my crappy minimum wage job.
