I am the guy who only targets the annoying people or children who really shouldn't be playing the game (my friends take advantage of this and call me the 'child molester'). I'm either all out heavy weapons or in the background supporting my teammates.

Among my gaming friends-- known by the nicknames Cue Ball, Marshmellow, [moving] Target, and Castro--I am known back-and-forth as either "Spartan" (given to me by Targert after I beat everyone in the group at a 1 vs. 4 game of HALO AND tripled their campaign scores) or "Mr. Miracle" (given to me by Marshmellow after we finished "Homeland Security" on Veteran difficulty on our first try, without using the rocket launchers). That means that I'm usually the best shot with the least self-preservation instinct in whatever game we might be playing at a given time.

I have also been trying (and failing) to earn the name "Motor-mouth" for well on two years now.

Well in Gears of War 2 I'm known as the leader killer and the only person who does not care about Kill/Death ratios. The leader killer because I will almost always just go and kill the leader in guardian, even if I'm my teams leader or when my friends are trying to just get kills. And the other because everyone flips out about kill/death ratios and getting kills stolen. And pretty much every other game I play my friends don't play because it isn't Gears of War or they think buying video games is a stupid waste of money.

Out of game: I'm known for being the guy who plays things that aren't mainly FPS's. Also my favorite game is Mega Man 2, which i play on a regular basis, which my friends give me shit about (for example: why would you play that game COD is so much better look at the graphics)
Speaking of, I'm one of the only gamers out of my friends who isn't obsessed with Call of Duty. and a graphics whore.

In-game: I'm unreliable as a teammate because if i think i can do something hilarious and/or awesome I'll try it even if it hinders my team. The most recent example I can think of is turning my senseitivity to it's highest in Modern Warfare 2, equipping an LMG and spinning around in circles firing it, scoring a triple and gamewinning kill with it, then sending everyone in my current party a voice message of me just cracking up.

Another good non-online example is during my latest run in Dragon Age: Origins as a Mage character, I'd start every encounter by throwing a fireball in the middle of the fight, knocking everyone(including me most of the time, Arcane Warrior) to the ground. I always like to imagine my character saying something along the lines of "Okay guys, i'm gonna try something a little risky.." before doing it.

I'm generally the angry one. But when I kick out a few videos on YouTube of me beating ass for no reason you'll know the screaming and swearing was not in vain (mostly).

Among my friends I am the Fighting Game Sensei. I've taught them everything they know about every fighting game they've played.

In MMO's I'm The Important One. Everyone else just wants to kill things. So it's my job to be healer or tank or whatever. I'm the one that prevents everyone else from dying.

Depends what group of friends I'm playing with. If I'm playing with the popular ones who go out and get drunk etc. then I'm known for being slower paced, and beating everyones K.D on CoD. If I'm playing with gamer friends then I'm usually known as that guy who knows fuck all. They go out of their way to find glitches and play games to absolute death, and I never know these glitches etc. because I just play the game for what it is...

Sniper Team 4 said:
Three things I suppose

1) As the name suggests, I'm the sniper out of my group.
2) The helper. I am more that happy to go out of my way to help my friends (or new people) get trophies, get a special item, or just figure out how to play the game.
3) The one to go to for answers regarding the story. I am that guy that seeks out every bit of info about the story and characters in a game. That being said, I also can't be evil in any game either. I just can't.
Word for word this.

Apparently I am the "moron" out of my group of friends because I play on PC and whenever I go to their house, I am terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE at aiming with a controller so apparently I am also the worst gamer out of all my friends..

Among my real life friends I am known for being the only one who can keep the game progressing. Obviously enough my friends aren't that big time of gamers.

Among my fairly dedicated group of gaming friends, I am "Miss Medicine and Supplies". It's amazing how, without meaning to, I end up being the player who goes medic in co-op shooters, tributes supplies in RTS's, buys that extra-special item for somone else in RPG's, and cooks and arranges snacks in real life

It might be because I'm a girl, I don't know. I just know my talents lie in the healing and support areas.

On a tangent, I'd rather like it if Alien Swarm kept track of how many infestations each player has healed, as well as the amount of kills they get. I'm shockingly bad at kills; my friends will get over 100 and I'll get around 10 (literally), but I am an extremely good medic, and people rarely die when I'm around. It'd be nice to get recognition for that.
