Yeah, it gets annoying.
I do that too. I don't understand why people would rather skip it and waste time figuring out what they just accepted.

Also, I'm known as the one with over 2-3 KDR each match on MW2 when I'm playing with my friends, when I'm not, I usually suck.

And I play games for fun and the story, not just the online parts and because it's cool to own.

I'm known for not liking Halo. But apart from that, they probably see me as a Jack of all traits, master of none.

The only one who gives a shit about any of the characters involved. I know they're NPC's, but I have this weird fixation to protect as many as possible. I also develop this odd bond with them if I like them enough, which can lead to some....Emotional sequences.

I am also known as death incarnate (see my username), to the point people can hear me laughing maniacally in the mic as I clear the head off someone's shoulders for the 821st time

I'm just an average gamer and don't acquire any special names. Except when I drink. I don't understand why or how but I can magically pull skill out of my butt, exponentially increasing with every drink I have. I've been called the drunken master by some of my friends because of this. :p

Im generally either a Ambusher or tactician. Ive been known to hide and jump out or tactically defend points and my team in games such as...

Cod (ACR or SCAR-H with silencer and M9 FMJ, I generally defend the flag/domination points/demoliton bombs and ambush people who come near. This is especially funny when theres two of them, I kill one and because im well hid the other enemy just looks around confused)

TF2 (I generally use pyro to stop a team rush on maps like dustbowl, I may noy get many kills with it, but I either get assists or force a retreat, Its liokle an air strike in stragety games. OR I spy and stab the medic of an heavy medic team, then calling an ambush on the heavy)

Ive also been the guy who sometimes rushes levels and fails (L4d, peace walker etc)

The warrior. Simple. Full melee, in any fantasy setting I -need- to be a melee character. Can only handle a ranged weapon in FPS'. Had some friends asking why I never play a spellcaster or so, simply because I can't get it to work properly! D:

I'm known as the one who does a better job sniping with iron-sighted weapons like assault rifles and handguns than snipers.

Examples: I can use the M1911A1 to pick of guards from across the stage in MGS3 and I once outsnipered a guy with an AN-94 in Bad Company 2...and he had all the advantages, high ground, good cover, better scope...

I'm known for being the best one at old pokemon games (gen 1 and 2, still using first saves. We play against eachother with our god-like level 100 pokemon. I have cousins younger than my team members), and being a feindish dick playing CoD. I use big machine guns and dual magnums (Do ya feel lucky, punk?).

Addmitedly, I'm not the best at CoD out of my friends, I just like to think I'm the most irritating. But I am best at strategy games.

I'm the multiplayer guy. I've got lots of games I can pull out to enjoy with several people at the same time. Cards, Boards, Online, Wii, whatever. I'm good like that. ^^

I'm usually the one known to play the evil side of games. All my friends play as the good guys, and I can't stand playing like that. Like in Fable II, there were these slaves in a cage who wanted me to let them out. I said no, but came back with the key later. Only to let them out, and while they are happily fleeing, light them on fire.

I'm also the one who likes to snipe/use stealth and is relatively good at it. I'm surprised a lot of people don't have friends who play games, it feels like everyone in my high school has XBL.

Can someone explain to me how playing on your own makes you better?
