We all watch movies, or at least play video games (I would hope). At points we come across a death that will truly make us laugh. They stick with us, and make the fact that someone is letting loose the mortal coil much more entertaining. So, I ask all of you Escapists, what is the funniest death scene that you can remember. I give you mine, a legend in the world of my friends. Yes, I bring you Paul Reubens death in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I ask all of you out there to top my first example.

...make me proud

In the 1990 film adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac. It's at the end of the movie, where Cyrano finally dies. However, he takes so long to die, it ends up being ridiculously hilarious.

I am glad you........approve? You need to watch the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie!

Have I truly picked the most amusing death scene and no one can top it!?

Except of course for titanic, that was pretty damn funny. I laughed at the previews of that!

i would have to say either Rip Van Winkles death, as i saw it as somehow gorily, disgustingly, horribly, yet somehow i found the look on her face entertaining. like a sixteen year old losing her... yes that's how sick my mind is!

or zorin blitz's grating against a wall until a bloody stump remained. awesome.

Any death from this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nzd0R_OeOc] scene.

Though my favorite has to be the guy that drives straight into the shark.

Movies: I can't remember the characters name, but one man's head was replaced with part of a church pillar in Hot Fuzz and his body stumbling around with about a 8-foot rock for a head coused me to laugh maniacally.
I believe his name was Tim Messanger as seen here:

His death always reminded me of a GWAR villain

Every death in Assassin's Creed where you kill a person and then have to listen to them recite a few pages of dialogue while bleeding badly from the throat.

You can ask, but I will not give you an answer. I will just say that you need to watch the movie. The original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, and yes, it was written by Joss Whedon if you were wondering. For a more accurate answer, I don't remember why he was there. I think that he was just fucking with Paul Reubins character, or Buffy, but I could be wrong. I know that he (Rutgar Hauer) is the main villain of the movie, but his actually motivations for being there, I can't remember. Actually, I need to re-watch that movie too.

That did not so much amuse me, as much as it pissed me off. Just die already!
