But the main point here is that I am a person, who has not alot of experience in watching Anime. I have only watched ALOT of Pokemon, I stopped watching it around 2005, and I have seen All Digimon up to Frontier (Not finished, might never be), and I watched all of Medabots a loooooooong time ago, so what Anime shows could you recommend for me? I'm mainly looking for something with action so it would keep me interested, though if there isn't I at least want one where the story and characters are at least likable. I would prefer Dubs, but will settle on subtitles.
Any suggestions?
A lot of it depends on age range. If you can handle it, Black Lagoon is VERY action heavy with fairly sophisticated characters and a likable cast. It also has a great English dub so no worries there. The only problem with it is that it is ludicrously violent and has a huge amount of curing. That said, is one of the best action series I have ever seen, but only watch it if you can handle the blood, language, and mature themes.
Some other really good ones with a more mature audience are Ergo Proxy, Blood +, Ghost in the Shell, Hellsing, Trinity Blood, Blassreiter, or even Elfen Lied if you can handle the gore and nudity.
On the lighter side of things, Full Metal Panic is a great choice for a action series with a little less hardcore violence. It has one of the best English dubs I have ever heard and is well worth a look if you want an action series with a little less seriousness.
All of the ones I listed have good to great english dubs and should be appropriate for anyone 15+, with Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Black Lagoon, and Blassreiter getting 17+.
