One Piece, it was the first anime i watched (not including Pokemon) but found it really boring.
Not to seem fanboyish but dude! One pieces anime kicks ridiculous ass! Never have I seen an anime that so religiously sicks to the manga and has minimum filter, great story and yeah, occasionally the fights drag on for waaaay to long (what anime isn't guilty of that? Lookin at you DBZ) but it is defiantly one of the better ones!

OT: D-Gray-Man. Oh dear god is Allens voice so amazingly annoying, and they make everything seem so childish for what is an otherwise dark manga! And the writers obviously said fuck continuity, lets take a couple of shots and write this *****!
And Negima, for obvious reasons...

There are quite a few. But the ones that stand out: XXX Holic, Torodora and Fruits Basket.

Oh, and the second season of Haruhi was awful!

Elfen Lied and Shakugan no Shana. The former seemed like my kind of show; a philosophical series about screwed up characters. I loved Eva, so why not? It turned out to be largely pretty dull, and by the third disk, it just seemed like random shit was happening. Also, I can tolerate romantic obliviousness (hell, I'd be pretty flustered out of not wanting to misinterpret anything), but seriously Kohta, you didn't stop to think that the horned person who's been killing people is the horned person you've been hanging out with?

Shakugan no Shana seemed like a good action-romance with an interesting premise. Unfortunately, pretty much everyone aside from the two leads (who aren't even that original) was dull as hell, resulting in a series of fights where I just didn't give a fuck (aside from that old guy who eats near-death flames, he's pretty cool).

.hack, that was the beginning of the end for me. And the biggest cockblock was Evangelion after episode 21, I think. You know, when they ran out of money and started the soapbox psychobabble crap. I'm getting angry just thinking about it.

While it's not a popular anime, I have to say that the second half of "Kure-nai" was a big disappointment. The first half was for the most part funny and heart-warming with the main characters forming a cute brother and sister relationship and even though there was a small bit of loli fanservice it was easily ignorable. From episode 8 onwards though it devolved into far more obvious and very off-putting lolicon filled in-between with long drawn-out fight-scenes and an anti-climatic ending [/rant].

Toaru majutsu no index II, the first season was epic, but this latest one dosn't really have any drive behind it, and it's just plain boring.

Two words:

Cowboy. Bebop.

Everyone praises this as the the best anime ever, citing its great action, deep characters, and stylish presentation. Well guess what? All the quadrillions of organic lifeforms on the planet who liked this show must have watched something different from me, because what I watched was a boring, directionless show that felt almost completely devoid of emotion.

So yeah, if someone could tell me where the good version of Cowboy Bebop is hiding, I'd be more than happy to give it a second go.

Easily Ikki Tousen you would think that a show with the idea to have ancient Chinese war lords reincarnated as half naked hot girls and have them battle to the death would be a great show
What part of this could possibly make a great show?

OT: Easily Yozakura Quartet. The manga is one of my favorites and the anime chose to take all the light hearted humor that helps make the manga so great and make practically non-existent. Gave it up without a second thought after a couple episode grace period.

I'm still trying hard to like it, I'm only five episodes in though so I apologize if I just "Don't get it" and it will "get better if you watch more" but I have to say... .Hack//Sign or however it's spelled, I just can't stand Tsukasa's stupid voice and I can hardly understand much of the plot, "Wait, when did they all know each other? Why does she even care in the slightest if he's all right, how did they convince those two other folks to help him? WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!"
RUN.
GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN.
THE ENDING IS THE MOST ANTICLIMACTIC ENDING IV EVER SEEN.
I loved Sign. The ending is perfect if you follow it with a healthy dose of the first game.

DMC anime, Kiddy girl(from a cool/neat sci fi anime to panstu and crap it sucks). I can;t diss the long running stuff at least tis still on and manages to keep me now and then.

I enjoyed Highshool of the dead it managed to balance ecchi and story unlike kiddy girl and.....

Gundam seed was horrid.

Another disappointment is that they haven't done anything new with Dragon Ball. They keep retelling the same story instead making new stuff. DB Kai's popularity proves the market is still strong for DB. It's almost like Toriyama was angry that he created something EVERYBODY was enjoying.

All they would have to do is.....you know what, they'll fuck it up.

An anime called Princess Resurrection (Kaibutso Oujo). The Manga is about a Guy who involuntarily becomes the immortal bodyguard of a princess over monsters. She is fighting her siblings for the thrown, so that she can be Queen of all monsters. And her siblings, wanting to kill her, send massive waves of different monsters after her, so she has to fight them off using any weapon she can (mostly a chainsaw...) and she has two ridiculously hot friends, one's a vampire and the other's a werewolf. The guy (Hiro)is immortal, but only so long as he drinks the blood of the princess regularly. Pretty gory all in all. But a great premise.

I tried to watch the anime, I couldn't watch past the second episode.. because... There Is NO GORE!!! If ANY F**KING anime NEEDS Gore, it's this one!! I watched an anime about an angel that was gorier than this! An Angel! Surely the anime about Monsters, Chainsaws, Drinking blood, Vampires and Werewolves Is IN MORE NEED OF GORE!! It really pissed me off.
(fortunately, the manga is just as gory as the description makes it seem, but the creators of the anime REEAALLY messed up when they removed a central element in the story...)

I'm personally a fan of how the series arcs over so many mediums. It started out as a light novel which led into a game which led into a manga which led into another anime....

I dunno I just enjoy going through so many different artistic mediums. It's about the whole, not the sum of its parts.

I'd say Bleach because of all the filler, and Loveless: ONLY because of the fact they left the anime on such an annoying point that I want to knife something.

Soul eater easily, the manga was so good, the only real way to save that second half was to wait for the manga to be written.

It is pretty cool that it expanded into several different mediums.
But i feel each part should at least be able to work on its own.
And imo the Anime cant.
Cant speak for the games as i never got to play em.
Same with the book.
I will eventually, just because i did love the star of Sign.
But everything from about 1/3 way through was just bad.
