Problem is that Elder scrolls was never a combat-oriented game. If it gets too actionny it wont have the same feeling, and if it isn't action there's no real point in a coop because one guy would just go "bang" and the other one "whoosheal". Over. and over.
I thought it was really combat oriented,(oblivion) everywhere I went I was being attacked by something. Very FPS like except it would chug if things got to intense.

It would be impossible to implement co-op due to the games design and engine.
Also in fallout 3, I found super mutant brutes at level 2, and I'd rather have ogres with 900 health when my resources are amped, then have my ass shot up by a missle launcher a few in-game hours after the tutorial.

EDIT: I'm aware of the pale pass ogres, and I do think the attribute distribution system should be changed to
1-2 skill points grants a +1 bonus
3-4 skill points grants a +2 bonus
5-6 skill points grants a +3 bonus
7-8 skill points grants a +4 bonus
9-10 or more skill points grants a +5 bonus
Luck of course, being exception.
as apposed to:
0 skill points grants a +1 bonus
1-4 skill points grants a +2 bonus
5-7 skill points grants a +3 bonus
8-9 skill points grants a +4 bonus
10 or more skill points grants a +5 bonus.

Also add the ability to summon more than 1 err... summon.

If Bethseda tried any real-time multiplayer in TES it would mean a complete re-working of the game, one which might turn out to be disappointing for fans like me. Theres just to much difference in the levels. At the beggining your struggling to kill a rat but at max level you can take on Methrunes Dagon with one hand tied behind your back. Being able to mix games would suck.
It kinda worked in Fable 2 (some people said it before) but the whole game was so easy it didn't matter whether you had rusty or master, they still fell like leaves. The whole point of the elder scrolls is working your way up from being a peasent to the champion of Cyrrodil, not having the champion come and help you out.

Ten bucks says odnom's 13 or 14. Anyway, if I wanted to play games with other people, I'd get World of Warcraft. The Elder Scrolls is singleplayer and I'd much rather it stay that way.
Actually I am 16. And you know what, fuck this post, all you guys care about is my grammar, and judging on how many mistakes I make.
