An Important Question Regarding Skyrim factions.

In the course of Skyrim, the player is eventually given an important choice of deciding whether or not to support the Stormcloak rebels or the Imperial Army. Personally, I can see the points made by both sides, but a much more important question has arisen before myself.

Which side lets me kill more of those High Elf twats?

Such as when they're out walking the wastes, I just speak to them, tell them I like Talos and then they assault me = no fine!

I'll give you two scenarios to explain how it seems to work: I was wandering along the path between settlements and two Thalmar agents come over the hill. They're all like "I'm a justiciar, so I'm better than yoooou!" I'm all like "lol, no!" *Ice form* and kill them. On the other hand, I try to maintain a good relationship with the various Jarls, so when I saw those Thalmar representatives in the hold in Solitude, I left them alone, despite what arrogant twats they are.
