Hopefully someone here on the escapist forum can help me with a small problem. I suddenly remembered a game I used to play a long time ago, probably late 80s to early 90s, but I can't remember the bloody name.
Well, here goes:
It's a 2D pc game where you play as an indiana jones-esque character. You run around the screen (each level was visible from the start, consisting of one screen) avoiding red spiders (or other enemies) while collecting treasures (I think it was diamonds).
If one of the spiders touched the player-character he would "fall apart", with some depiction of blood.
Another detail I remember is that at a certain point in the game you could find a spot in one of the levels where your character would be cursed. Then the character would drop his hat when running away from the enemies. The hat could then be picked up, but it wasn't required to finish the stage.
The background was always black and the walls of the stages were orange/red (if I remember correctly).
Thanks
