An Odd PS3 Problem...

For some reason, whenever I connect my controllers to my PS3, it connects as player 2. I have to disconnect my controller and reconnect it, and, bam, connected as player 1. This is getting REALLY tedious, does anyone haveany idea how to fix this?

Unplug the other controller from the charge cable?

or if you´re using some kind of controler/remote that uses a USB dongle it might be taking the player 1 slot before you

it´s not a big problem but it can get anoying over time

to elaborate, the second controller is not plugged in, it is not turned on, nothing. the first controller just automatically takes the second player slot unless it's plugged in in the start. it's quite annoying...

I've turned it off...

Just hold the PS3 Button on the controller down until the Turn System off menu pops up and go into the "controller settings" menu and reassign the controller to player 1.

I meant pressing the white button on the back of the controller.

idk about a white button, but I found a tiny reset button. I reset both controllers and... nothing. controller 1 connects as controller 2. it's highly irritating... it's just a small thing, but it's like a papercut... no big deal in the long run, but MAN does it get annoying now and then...
