You know, there is way too much criticism of Michael Bay's Transformers. Think about this. He watched season one of the original Transformers series and then made a movie that appealed to that target audience, 10 year olds. A plot that 10 year olds could understand, and was probably writen by a 10 year old. So I say bravo *stands and claps* bravo Michael Bay, bravo... This entire paragraph was in massive sarcasm quotes.
Actually, yes the plot sucked... Yes, the sector 7 guys were posibly the worst characters in a movie since Jar-Jar Binks. But myself having grown up watching Transformers, and still have some of my orginal toys (yes I have an original Optimus and Megatron, they are on display in my Man room) I enjoyed the movie - only for the splodies. Yes, every time I rewatch the movie, I omit scenes that contain... talking. This is the only movie that I will watch for special effects, because of my fanboyism. There is a trend to make big movies with tons of CGI and NO STORY. I will cite a few glorious terds... Spiderman 3, The Mummy: Curse of the Trilogy. It is not just Michael Bay, there are more and they all need to be stopped.
