an optimistic post about sonic the hedghog!

so i heared the new sonic game (generations) is preaty good and i am very happy about it because the blue guy didnt have a good game in a realy long time...
so in this optimistic aditude ill ask you this:
what was the last sonic game you liked/played?
for me its the one and only sonic heroes when i was about 9 years old... just loved it!

I played the demo for Sonic Generations and was very pleased, the last good Sonic I played was a terrible sonic game on a technical level, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, terrible story, gameplay, camera, but I love that game so much it hurts

Being optimistic here... it'll probably be better than doing nothing at all.

For me, the most recently released one I played and liked was Sonic 4 about this time last year. Not perfect by any means, but a good attempt to bring Sonic back to his roots. Look in the User Review Index for my review of it for more of my specific feelings on it. I'm planning on reviewing Generations when I get it, too.
