Analytical by nature: why are you such a prick?

Most people who do the "I'm just analytical" argument with me, are just using it as an excuse to take a sentance or phrase that I have used and somehow point out that something is wrong with it, as if it would discredit my argument entirely.
I mean, I'm an analytical person, but it's just supposed to help you understand the entire picture by understanding the underlying concepts of what is being said, not by taking absolutely everything and saying "Well this sentance isn't formulated properly, your arguments are invalid."

Well, I usually don't say that I'm analytical by nature, since I feel that if a belligerent needs to point out their character traits to make their arguement seem more valid then it's not a very valid point to begin with. I am analytical by nature, but thats not always a good thing, especially when your mind spends months picking apart an anime you saw in July and it didn't stop till november. Basically I pick things apart down to a molecular level wether I want to or not.
I like to piss people off, thats why I am such a prick. I know my limits, I don't try to piss off someone bigger than me, or that looks crazy, or that I don't know...
