And just like that, Origin will have thousands of new users (ME3)

Lol no... i dislike EA far enough to get origin just to play ME3...

I'm just gonna pirate it, and get everything for free... Cuz it doesn't matter how much you see it EA always tries to screw the costumer up... so i'm just returning the favor..
And you really don't see the hypocrisy in that logic?

Also, enjoy your warning, owning up to being a pirate doesn't rub too well with the mods around these parts.
I couldn't care less to what people think of me. Bioware has been sending worst and worst games, this new Mass Effect 3, looks like a idiots game, only action and no real strategy. The characters look like a jersey Shore party, and the DLC hell EA so loves really bugs me.

I dislike EA, i dislike the Origin system, i dislike all and every single one of theyre policy's.

So i couldn't care less, i prefer to waste my money with good companies that make games thinking on the players and the community, then spending on incomplete games only made for profit, instead of the fans.

So yeah... gonna ILLEGALY DOWNLOAD Mass Effect 3. EA always works the extra mile to screw the player. Why should i give another extra mile to support them to do that?
You don't like the game but you're going to download it anyway?

I can't possibly seen anything wrong with that explanation ¬_¬
I played the first (wich i loved), and the second. So i'm bound to be curious of how the 3rd ends, doesn't matter how much i hate the publisher company or how the series have been led to.

I wouldn't buy it. But i will download it, only by curiosity to how everything ends. Don't need to be a genious to reach this simple conclusion.
So what you're saying, is that you're interested in the way the game turns out, but don't want to pay for it?

There are ways of finding out how the game ends without being so self-entitled, you know.
So aniway... who are you to judge others?... I dislike EA and decided not to give them MY money, and get the game for free. Going to dumb things down for you. I have a curiosity of how the story plays out in the end. But other then watching a retard playthrough from [insert unfunny commentator or youtuber here], i decided i want to play the game. But my hate for the new changes and for the company itself makes me NOT want to buy the game. Out by the sheer of possibility and curiosity i have decided to download the game for free. With this i BOTH don't give money to EA AND get to watch the ending by my own terms [and not of somebody else]. Not like i download games from every single other company.

But please go ahead and tell me how to use my money, or what to do. Cuz you know, you are the answer to everyone problems. Thinking ahead, you could be worst then me. Heck you couldv done worst things then me. So Who are you to judge others upon what they chose to do.

If you love the game so much, FINE go buy it. I'm not tellign what you should or shouldn't do. But please, don't go all Jiminy Cricket over something that doesn't concern you.
If you wanna know how the story goes you could always read the synopsis on Wikipedia or the Mass Effect wiki if you wanted even more detail.

But then that wouldn't result in you getting a game for free would it?
That's like saying "Oh why watch the movie... go to the bookstore and watch the book of it..."

Cuz you know... that makes more sense...
Well if you have the time I'd recommend both watching the movie and reading the book. Often you'll find the book is better. But no, what I was saying was that if you dislike the changes to the game then why bother playing it?

If you're so interested in how the story goes then it's possible for you to find out without playing through yourself. Please continue though, it's fun watching you trying to justify pirating the game.
The difference was that i would be experimenting the story by my own terms, after following my playthroughs of ME1 and 2. I want to see how the events that i unfolded will play out.

Watching someone else playing it wouldn't be the same now would it?
So then buy it.
To money grubbing EA?... no chance in hell...

Look call me what you want, heck i even understand the whole irony of the situation... but fact is, i'm gonna do it, will you like it or really hate it.

EA never cares about the costumer... so why would i care about EA?
And what about the people of Bioware who made the series?

There's nothing ironic about it. You're just someone who wants to play something you have no right to play because you refuse to pay for it.
Oh yes Bioware... i have seen the recent falldown of theyr works... Just Dragon Age 2.... i couldnt even finish that piece of sh...

Oh were are my manners. I dislike what bioware is slowly becoming... Thanks to EA ofc...

And you could complain all you want... curse me, complain do whatever you want... That corruptec company deserves worse then the matter of this discussion. Will i still do what i want? Yes. Will i care about what happens to EA or even Bioware? Nope...
I'm not going to curse you. I just dislike when pirates try and hide behind some false sense of righteousness. Standing up for a cause? Disagree with the company?

Bullshit. You just wanna play something without paying for it and that's your choice, just don't try and justify it because if there's nothing stopping you from paying for the game then there's no justification in pirating it.
Problem?

Look this is getting boring and seriously i couldn't care less to what you think, or to your little judgement... So... i'm just going to be sarcastic over this..

Cuz you know.. you changed my life... i will never ever be evil and do bad things. I'm glad there are people like you good sir... people of heart and soul that fight so hard over the internet. I will make a statue.... NO... i will donate money to charity and give your glorious nickname so that everyone knows, YOU are a good, and cool guy. If only there were more like you in this world... oh the utopia we could be living, under your rules and ideals... so glorious and majestic hopes and dreams...

But Alas, we cannot reach your awesomness and epicness... us dark, dirty humans could never live up to your standarts. Oh curse you god for making ONE perfect man, and make the rest of us so imperfect and impure... What kind of God would make something like that...

Well... leaving the fantasy stories aside, i would like to say that you sir... i would handshake your majestic hand, but unfortenatly my corrupted soul could never be near such upright, law abiding citizen.

I am sorry if i ever doubt you or questioned your thinking, comments, or arguments...

Now go forth... rise into the heavens into your golden palace, surrounded by magical robot unicorns, pirate zombies, alien ninjas and powerfull warlock chicks...

Nobody cares that you're a pirate.

People care that you used a bullshit excuse instead of just admitting that you like free stuff.

The army of folks that complain in a thread that originally just was one person confuse me.

"Man everyone is always complaining!"

Well no, one person every couple days mentions it and 200 people complain in response.

You are being no less childish than the person you are judging. Reality doesn't change to fit your biases, the sooner you learn that in life the better you'll be off.

Speaking as someone who won't be buying or pirating ME3 (I'll get it when its on a big sale).

Just get tired of people thinking they've unraveled the universe because they can blanket statement some group of people.

"Look at me everyone, next I'll tell you how I feel about bankers and oil companies! Because I know how people work. I have 9 PHDs."

Never let Origin on system.

If you all want to blindly defend a company who have a proven track record of privacy invasion, go ahead.
I believe the argument is they changed their EULA and now it is full of sparkles and sunshine.

I wouldn't know, nor do I care (since I don't use the service), but that's what I've read in this thread.

The 10 answers i could give (5 are acctually honest. Guess wich)

1-No one cares about what you think;

2-Who are you to Judge what others do and say? Judge yourself instead of others.

3-Everyone loves free stuff... your statment is invalid.

4-Arrr ya seabiscuit (pirates lol)

5-I gave an excuse.. yes... it's my opinion and what i really think. If you don't like it... go screw yourself... if you don't believe it, well, read the 1st answer again in case you skipped it.

6-Did you know the first game i got for "free" was acctually Half Life 2? And that i loved it so much that from that day onward i bought every single half life game, the orange box and the left 4 dead games, out from my love to that company?

7-I understand your secret love for me but i never asked for this. This love has to end.

8-I wonder if you fight THIS MUCH over a matters that don't concern you against other people.

10-Unfortenatly there is no correct number before this one... Cuz why is 6 afraid of 7? Cuz 7 8... you get my drift.

So something people regard as inferior will have thousands of new users because of exclusives? Have you been in like cryosleep or something? Have you ever heard the word "Console" before? This seems fairly irrelevant and obvious.

1. PS3 or 360 version will be better. It's just a fact that the mass effect pc games are basically shitty console ports.
2. Origin is not that bad, my only real issue with it is that EA seems to not want my money anymore by pulling from steam
3. I LIKE steam because I know a lot of people who use it, and it's a very convenient way to hold on to digital copies of games.

Either way, the console version will be better, Origin will continue to fail because of their lateness to the party and their lack of content, and I, like many others, will continue to buy from steam because it is much more convenient...

And I really hate all this "STEAM IS EVIL!" BS, I understand not liking their forcing you to use it for certain things, but it's a really nice platform.

OH, and if someone hasn't mentioned it yet... first world problems *facepalm*
I've never understood this whole "first world problems" thing. It stands to reason that first world people would obviously have first world problems.
It's that there are much bigger things we could be worrying about, like political climates and all that... not that this isn't an issue, it's just relatively small compared to something such as global warming or nuclear holocaust

As much as I dislike piracy, the guy doesn't owe EA anything. They're willing to sell him down the river as soon as he jumps into Origin, we all know that about EA. I don't see why he shouldn't avoid that and get what he wants at the same time. False morals aside, he isn't doing anything wrong. EA fucks us, we fuck EA.

OT: C'est la vie. You have guys who'll buy the game and give EA exactly what they want, regardless of their own principles; guys who'll pirate the game and get exactly what they want; and people who'll stick by their Quit Origin campaign and tell EA to fuck off.

What matters isn't what everyone else does, it's whether you're happy with your own decision. Me? I'm not getting ME3, I haven't played the second one and I'm not going to anytime soon so I have no reason to suddenly skip a chapter of the story.

I've said it 50 times and I'll say it again, this is no different than how Steam first got people to start using it.

Difference being Half Life 2 was single player only. Oh and their servers exploded and nobody could play the game, because they couldn't register their single player only game.

But it's only evil if Origin does it.
Pretty sure everyone hates Origin due to you having to give access to all of your computer files or something like that?
Except you don't, and ten seconds of research will tell you that much.

The EULA is the same as Steam's, but relying on hearsay is much more fun and leads to more people blindly hating something without actually knowing the truth.
Pretty much this. For some reason people use Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Steam etc etc and fill out all their contact info and upload pictures of themselves - but then EA makes Origin, and suddenly people are concerned about their privacy.

As the dogtrainer said to his trainees, bitches please. :D
Because at this point we're just ticked off at EA. Butthurt is no excuse for lack of logic though, and really I won't play ME3 on anything but PC because of my saves. I don't like EA's business practices, but as long as their satellite studios keep churning out good games I will support them anyway.

Me, I don't particularly care. Maybe when Dead Space 3 comes out. Until then, Origin can paw at my door all it likes, it's not getting in.

And once gain EA will prove that they don't actually need their customers to like them to earn a profit. That customer goodwill is just another marketing strategy that's beneath the big players.

But at least you will be able to play the latest game, that's all that matters right?

I hope you don't have any embarassing anime porn on your hard disk. lol
Buy and install the game, crack it, get rid of origin, problem solved.

And to be honest, I've used origin for a while now, its a little buggy but no where near as bad as steam in its infancy, sure the games are overpriced for digital distribution, but its functional, and as to spyware, I'm pretty sure they took that out, and if not, that is what sandboxing is for.
