So I woke up this morning to discover I had just enough posts for my next to be a 'special' 8k, so I decided what better time is there to make a thread? I pooled together the various thoughts I had for threads and decided upon this.

My question to you escapists: Do you prefer to watch the next episode previews in a TV show where it applies?

I've found that I tend to watch the previews at the end of whatever show I'm watching, mostly because I don't feel the show is completely over till everything they've decided to show me has been shown. The only show I've refused to watch the next episode previews for was Neon Genesis Evangelion, and that's because even though I was watching every episode back to back, I didn't want a single part of the next episode to be ruined by already seeing part of it.

I prefer to avoid the "Next week on xxxxx" bits. I know they never give away any major plot points, but I always prefer not to have any fore-knowlage of what's going to happen in an episode.

I think it's absurd that they mostly spoil the next episode with those things.
Why would you want to know what happens?
Learn to have patience people!
I don't want to know what happens until I see it.
Are the people who want to read the ending to a book first or want to watch the ending to a game before actually playing it really a majority?

Depends if I'm in what mood I'm in.

In certain cases I like to hear what happens in the next and in other cases I hate it when they do it.

Kind of hard to explain, I guess you say I'm semi neutral with it.

Yes, as long as it doesn't contain major spoilers. I want to be able to tell if I can be assed to watch it.

As long as I don't care to know sure, but don't you dare to that on a series I want to watch. Why would I want to know what happens next? I don't need to see the next episode if I already know what's in it!

No, it just makes me want to see the next episode that usually happens to be a week from when they show it.
