I thought ME1's sounded like some 30 Secs to Mars (not a fan). Kind of out of place, I was expecting something more orchestral. The only other credit songs I can actually remember are the one's from Zelda games, namely Majora's Mask

not sure about songs i like but i do know that anyone who says dragonforce from guitar hero 3 they deserve a shooting. am i the only person who realises that dragon force just sounds like an 8-bit console on speed.

I loved the ME1 credits song, for certain. Can't think of any others, besides Borderlands. Maybe I'm thinking about the intro song for that, though.

For what's essentially a giant war simulation, the Total War games have always had fantastic and often poignant songs for their credits by Jeff van Dyk.

The two credit songs that stick out in my mind is Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Borderlands. I forgot how good that Prey song was for the ending, so I'll have to rank that in there.

Wasn't that 1's? I've never beaten 2, so I can't really say if it's in it, but I definitely remember it in 1. Combined with what happens in the ending, it's probably the most moving end credits ever.

Is it cheating if I use a movie? Fight Club made me incredibly happy when it used this song at the end.

I didn't finish the game because I didn't enjoy it, but I think that Prey ends with the song Take Me Home by The After Midnight Project. If so, that, because AMP is fantastic.

Take Me Home by The After Midnight Project. Wonderful band. Their album was sort of "meh", but if you can find and download their bootlegs, they are a fantastic band that deserves so much more exposure.

Forgot about Prince of Persia. I remember being supremely satisfied when I first finished that game, kicking back and listening to the credits roll with a smile on my face as only the best of games can make me do.

Pity I never enjoyed any of the other games nearly as much. Sands of Time just had this perfect 'dreamy exotic fairy-tale' vibe to it that every game since has simply lacked.

That's why I've always though that the sequels should have revolved around the dagger as the main character. A dagger like that could get into all sorts of adventures that never happened.

And yeah the song is pretty good. I still keep it on my MP3 player. It's a little awkward when it comes up around other people because they aren't going to know the awesome setting I experienced it in. It feels a little... off from the rest of the popular music on my MP3 player.

I don't really have a favorite end-credits song, but there are some songs that I'd never have enjoyed if they hadn't been in the end credits of a game I loved.

Twisted Metal Black closed with the Rolling Stone's 'Paint it Black,' and I still think of that game every time I play it.

But the best (or worst) by far is 'Blurry,' a terrible, terrible song that I can't help but rock out to after it was used in the credits of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, a game I will always love and that I have gotten far too much play out of.
