I hate Peta but I disagree with you comparing them to WBC. I certainly didn't see them picketing Colonel Sanders funeral and I certainly don't see them going on about how humans deserve to die for their treatment towards animals. Preachy, self - righteous press sluts take a far different road then obnoxious, close minded, self - righteous misanthropes. Heck, laughing at Peta is like laughing at an amusing insane person meanwhile laughing at WBC is like laughing at an insane moron.

Now with that said . . .

Keep trolling, Peta and please make Janets life suck. Yeah, I hate Peta but all the same I hate fur even more and it just so happens that Janet supports it. So while I don't like PETA I'll take great enjoyment in knowing they made her life harder. So without a doubt you are correct. They are trolls. And I'll guarantee that in every other issue PETA tries to enforce down our throats I'll probably be amongst everyone else, laughing at them. But on the issue of fur I'll see them as the lesser of two evils.

One side you've got this self righteous preachy corporation filled with teenager's that didn't bother to look for better animal rights groups. And then you've got these people that'll kill 20 to 42 Foxes for a coat when there's a cheaper alternative that looks just about the same. So really, we either pick the jackass that we can all point and laugh at or we can pick someone that supports a damaging industry that's becoming unwanted and one that is un needed. But of course we can also ignore this issue all together and complain about how our own government doesn't care about us when we show the exact same disregard towards other humans and other creatures.

I could have gone on a far greater anti - fur rant but I'll save you my animal rights bull shit and end this with just one Anti Fur argument: Fur farming is one of the reasons that PETA exists. Therefor, it's that industry that can be blamed for bringing us such a ridiculous joke of a corporation. Yeah, I know my logic is fucking ridiculous and I probably used like . . . ten fallacies. But who gives a shit? Probably better then what the other two sides have to offer.

Eugh. PETA.

They are the worst. Just the worst thing. Damn near every animal they 'rescue' they put down within weeks.
I dunno about that man. Lest we forget the WBC.

OT: Meh. PETA's full of douchebags, but at least they're harmless and are sticking up for something they believe in. Their cause makes sense, they just have... Peculiar methods.
PETA are anything but harmless. They sponsor people who firebomb labs, those places where scientists try to make the world better. Not to mention their bullshit propaganda. It's just built with the same cult techniques as scientology, a pretend ethos that draws in people who think it can give them purpose. One of the founding members is a diabetic who has been using Bovine Insulin while telling all their people to never use animal products.

In temrs of being attention whores ... they're on pretty much the same level
Well, as an activist group, they sort of have to get all the publicity they can for their cause.
Yeah but there's these things called class, and good taste which PETA and the WBC lack. (I realize that sentence may seem condescending and for that I apologize).

Remember PETA's super tofu boy parody that basically said 'super meat boy wasn't good enough in bed, tofu boy being a vegan was'. That's essentially middle school taunting, and something you'd think they'd be above.
Not to mention that Super Tofu Boy actually became a real character in the game.

As bad as PETA seem, I still think they are doing more good than bad in some cases. Yeah not all of their campaigns make sense and sometimes they are downright retarded in their approach... But of the few things they do actually do right, this is one of them...

They are doing something they believe in and their cause is just even if their means are not perfect.

You know who else is doing something they believe in, who feels their cause is just?

Suicide bombers.

It doesn't matter how noble or good your cause is, if your methods include lighting fires, planting pipe bombs, and physically assaulting people who wear furs or eat steak. PETA is full of hypocritical people who have long ago lost touch with reality and don't care even in the slightest who or what they hurt as long as they get attention.

The end does not justify the means.
