What ever is good to me at the time, i wont listen to it if its been played to death... i.e bands that are spammed on the radio.

Yeah the Beatles are the best, of course there are many many other great bands but the Beatles had about 70 famous songs which is a shit load! They at least had 6 good songs on every album they released and they also were in 4 great movies which are very original.
Then I would say the Rolling Stones come 2nd because they have about 50 great songs, then Bob Dylan with 40 and Led Zeppelin with about 25.
If I made a Beatles top 10 it would go:

Nope, even before classical music took over my life and became the only thing I listen too I didn't like the Beatles. I just didn't enjoy their music at all for some reason. Not my taste. So in my subjective opinion, the Beatles are not the greatest band ever. Sorry.
The Beatles aren't the best band ever, that's ridiculous - they're the THIRD best band of all time - Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are better

Going by that logic, Britney Spears is one of the greatest artists of all time, and The Eagle's "Greatest Hits" is the best album of all time (at least in the United States) - I'm sorry, but your "logic" causes me too much pain, so I therefore have to conclude its wrong; sales are inconsequential to the quality of a band itself.Vlane said:

Aaaanyways. I like the Beatles a lot, but I dont really listen to their music, I just enjoy it when I hear it. As far as them being the best band ever, I beg to differ. Most influential? Probably. Best band ever? impossible to say.
