After that little stunt as a moderator, I doubt that that'd ever come to pass 🤣 ( I'm not against it though 😘😜 )

Although it should be a relatively easy job to migrate user-, topic-, category- and post tables from one forum to another. Creating a badge system for a new forum, now that a more interesting challenge, looking forward to seeing how they solve that one.

Also looking forward to seeing how the Forums and Disqus are doing to coexist together, I suppose that both will be used to comment on articles, creating a nice rift in the user base.


- And I've run out of time to write a longer post and reply to that Mass Effect avatar, whoops.

If they rehired Bob, then they can rehire you.

I'm allowed to pass along that its a work in progress to get a V2 forum with all the relevant data/history from our accounts. Understandably, securing content and other business-y stuff is coming first but we do have people actually working on V1 forums to keep things going for the community.

Stay tuned for more, I'm right there with you wanting Disqus to be replaced with what we have here on V1.

I'm allowed to pass along that its a work in progress to get a V2 forum with all the relevant data/history from our accounts. Understandably, securing content and other business-y stuff is coming first but we do have people actually working on V1 forums to keep things going for the community.
