The end of RDR, all that time spent saving my family, only to be shot and forced to play as my whiny voiced son

Ninja Gaiden 2 on mentor difficulty made me sell the game , and halo 3 because of the vidmaster annual achievement because someone always thought it was hilarious to throw a sticky grenade their ally.

Persona 4, since i absolutely refused to grind levels until the second to last boss, all of the midgame to lategame bosses were stupidly difficult. On two seperate occasions the only thing stopping me from getting stuck were SP restoring potions for Yukiko, not to mention the fact that i'd used the last little baby auto revive potions they give you if you're on Beginner on Shadow Rise

Yeah needless to say i raged all the way through the mid to lategame dungeons
A friend of mine and I started playing P4 earlier this year. While I've been going ok (I'm up to Rise's dungeon atm) my friend isn't so lucky. He was attempting to rush Kanji's dungeon, got about 3/4 through the dungeon *without* saving and was unlucky enough to be caught by surprise by a group of magus. To cut a long story short, he was combo'd to death and has refused to play the game again to this day. Oh, and we're both playing on normal, so we don't get the auto revive items.

Huh. I never had too much trouble with P4. Best advice I can give is to grind as much as possible, only fighting the boss at the latest possible opportunity. And I try to keep at lest five useful personas on me at once, one for each of the four elemental spell types and one for physical attacks.

Diablo II. They killed Griswold. Frikkin GRISWOLD. And then they make him into a zombie that I have to kill.

Yeah, I understand that they wanted to put Diablo in the worst light, tug at your past as a player and show the horror that he was capable of. Irredeemable monster that you must destroy and all that. They won. I hunted down Diablo like a dog.

And then the increasing levels of difficulty for the additional play-throughs started adding prefixes/suffixes to bad guy powers, making nigh-immune to all attacks while their auras were doing damage right back at me. That gold old quick.

It isn't until I fire it up again after a long hiatus that I remember why I put it down in the first place. Nostalgia sure does paint over the ugly parts really well.

Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption (which, now that I think about it, has a friggin long title).

Why does Zann Consortium stuff cost 10 times more than the other factions? Why are corruption missions so time consuming? Why are corruption benefits so expensive? Why does it only get 5 champions when other factions get 7? Why doesn't the proton torpedo frigate have any weaknesses?

Actually, mostly the last one. The AI massed a stack of 100 of those buggers and it was gg uninstall burn CD.

Falling in a pit of lava when exiting a cave, with over 20 diamond, hundreds of iron, and a bunch of awesome stuff in minecraft. I deleted the world and stopped playing for a few weeks out of pure anger. I usually don't really get mad at games, but that definitely had an affect.

Homefront. I was getting increasingly pissed off with the "friendly" NPC's. Then I was trying to sneak out through a mass grave with 3 bullets to my name, then my NPC decided to open fire on them and I got slaughtered. Being griefed by my own NPC allies was too much and I screamed at the screen and I haven't played it since.

AVP. I love that game, but the online community will piss you right the fuck off. Once I got so pissed, I actually hurt when I stopped playing. I took a break and played some Bejewled, and that fixed me right up.

Rather ironically, I only break games and gaming equipment (including a tv) when I'm NOT angry, because I have a natural hate of technology. Buuuuut, no, rarely get angry at games, because I tend to quit if anything starts to annoy me. I have yelled out in frustration when I knew no-one was in the house and I once threw a controller across the room, but I aimed it at the bed so I specifically knew that it wouldn't break.

Keep calm and carry on.

To quote.....something I can't remember well enough.

Dragonball Z Budokai 3, The tournaments. You'll spend 10 minutes climbing your way up the tiers of AI fights, as many as 6 fights, with one loss meaning you have to start for the beginning. Then in the finals or semi finals, you make one tiny mistake and your opponent will just knock you straight out of the ring.

While it is possible to knock the AIs out of the ring, chances are they'll just teleport behind you and smash you out, and unless you have split second reactions and at least 3 ki bars, you can do NOTHING to stop them.

When it happens once it's annoying, but when I was playing for 2-3 hours trying to farm money, without a single tournament win it was absolute rage fuel.

I didn't break anything, but lets just say my PS2 controller has some teeth marks on it...

Dead Rising.
Oh. My. God. That game was an exercise in frustration.
I didn't break anything, or whatever, though I was prepped to throw my controller before I caught myself. I stopped playing after that.
