Surely a game or games in particular have gotten you to breaking point, so what game if you can remember made you the most angry and even if you can't remember the game, what did you do when at your most angry and frustrated period? Was a controller broken? Was a console broken? Was a TV broken? Did you burst into tears? Did you refuse to play for a week? Did you sell the game off and refuse to complete it?

Do tell :D

Dead or Alive 4.

That bloody blue dishwashersubstance final boss.

Many controllers were lost. And yeah, ragescreams and also a headset got broken.

Must be either Demon's Souls or any of the Pro Evolution Soccer games

I actually smashed a controller into tiny pieces playing pro evo and had to painstakingly glue it back together. It works fine, but the memories remain...

Stupid freaking Boost Guardian from Metroid Prime 2 on HARD difficulty. I don't know how many times I screamed after getting killed from that guy, but I always remembered Samus' scream always irritating me at the end as if to say "Yeah you failed and died. Do it over again."

When I first got Half-Life 2, I was running on a computer that was limited to DirectX 7. Each time I turned on my flashlight, it illuminated nothing. It was nothing short of frustrating, especially since the part I was on REQUIRED a flashlight to see the tiny hole I was supposed to go through.
Another time was when I had a computer that was limited DirectX 8 (I've had a history of awful computers) and I was playing Team Fortress 2 on lower-than-low graphics that displayed no facial expressions. I continuously died without even really scoring a substantial hit. I got so angry I ended up accidentally trashing my headset.

Neither of those events were helped by me being a moody 11-12 year old at the time.

Super Mario World, Chocolate Island. The rest of the game had been relatively a breeze so getting stuck came as a shock. I just kept dying and lost it.

Dragon Age 2. Not because anything was broken.
A number of unfavourable events transpire with relation to your family, and then you find out that certain other people may have been involved with those events, and then I got angry and killed everything.
Surprisingly immersive game.

Tempted to just link the Rage Quit videos on Roosterteeth's site. Most of those games, I've had the same reaction. There have also been times when you get to a checkpoint with no health or weapons, so every time you die, you re-spawn in the equally shitty situation. That pisses me off.

Through my fault, every single CoD game of Veteran.

Just for being stuck, Red Dead Redemption, i couldn't break the horses the 1st time you had to do it. For me the tutorial for it sucked, I was doing exactly what I was told, but every single time it threw me off. That pissed me off just as CoD on vet

Shadow of the Colossus. Last one. I've been stuck for two weeks. Right now, I'm the middle of at attempt that has lasted about half an hour. I've climbed all the way up the thing three times already, only to get knocked off and climb up again. I finally make it to the top of it's head(for the fourth time) and start stabbing. Unfortunately, he's going crazy and has started swing his head around almost constantly, making it more or less impossible to get a good stab in. Fortunately, his health is extremely low, so that one good stab ought to finish him off. After swinging around for what MUST have been around 5 minutes (a long time to be clinging to the head of sky-scraper having a seizure) I manage to stab him once. It takes away all of his health, but he's still alive. Seriously: His health is SO SMALL THAT IT IS NO LONGER VISIBLE IN THE BAR and he is still alive. Literally ANYTHING at this point will kill him. So the next time he stops moving for a second, I raise my sword....And get thrown off.

But it's OK! I've landed right next to one of those secret tunnels you use to get close to him! As soon as Wander wakes up, I just have to roll into it and I climb up there again and finish him off! Any second now....get ready....here it comes......

GAME OVER

That's right, Wander's not unconscious, he's dead. And that concludes this 40 MINUTE ATTEMPT. You're DAMN RIGHT I threw a controller.

Persona 4, since i absolutely refused to grind levels until the second to last boss, all of the midgame to lategame bosses were stupidly difficult. On two seperate occasions the only thing stopping me from getting stuck were SP restoring potions for Yukiko, not to mention the fact that i'd used the last little baby auto revive potions they give you if you're on Beginner on Shadow Rise

Yeah needless to say i raged all the way through the mid to lategame dungeons

Fallout 3 (the original, not Bethesda's) for not being made.

Now, joking aside, I'd have to say it was probably playing Counter-Strike in a LAN house. Not because of the game but because of the players.

I tend to just keep calm and respawn. Games with fixed cameras though tend to get to me though, where it decides to insta kill me with something I couldn't see because the camera was too busy doing it's own thing.

Have to agree, and whats worse is that this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for my lust of trophies.... CoD 5 was the worst for me, you can't stay in one place for too long or else you get 10 grenades spawning around you, and you can't keep moving as you need cover to not get horribly shot up. That game owes me a controller and a new clock (who would have thought a controller thrown at a clock face would break it?)

I once stupidly tried to play Zelda II with no help. I ended up throwing my controller at the tv, destroying both. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

It was WoW:TBC, and my friend and I were doing 2v2's Warrior/Shaman. It was a good set-up but hard to be good at. We got to 1820 rating once, and then started losing and went back down to 1750. I was so pissed. I was sick of getting so close to getting those Season 3 weapons then falling straight back down. I grabbed the nearest thing I saw and threw it hard against the wall. Then, I saw how upset I got over a video game and calmed down.

Now, I don't play games to win or get shiny things. I play to have fun, and I stop when I'm not having fun anymore. That outburst was my turning point, and believe it or not, I quit WoW soon after that. I realized I didn't have fun playing the game anymore, go figure.
