Punched a hole in the wall next to my computer after screwing up at the end of a super long mission on Guildwars. Made me rage so much.

Left 4 Dead 1 + 2 have got me punching my friend, and walls. It just pisses me off; i love the game, but when the AI cock up, like taking ages to hit a hunter off of you, it makes me pissed.

Strangely enough, most games make me rage.

The game that has probably annoyed me the most that I can think of is probably Soul Calibur 3. On higher difficulties the AI opponents are just ludicrously cheesy cheating bastards. I almost threw my controller once or twice, but many obscenities were shouted. The main thing that bothered me was the difficulty one step down was far too easy, one step up and it was frustrating. Though I hear the more recent games in that series have the opposite problem.

The Hard/Expert AI on Company of Heroes sometimes does some pretty bullshitty stuff, which might be coincidence, but I swear it fudges the randomness of attacks in it's favor at times. Like how a Panther tank with virtually no health and NO veterancy has NINE tank shells deflect off it and do no damage, while it destroys two of my tanks and damages another with 2 or 3 shots while it very slowly goes out of control during it's "death" animation. Many time their flamethrower pioneers (also with little to no veterancy) torches 3 squads of my engineers in like 6 seconds while all 3 of my engy squads also have flamethrowers. In general the seem to insta-toast infantry very quickly with those things. They are NEVER that effective for human players that reliably.

I don't play fighting games often any more, apparently it's hard to make an AI for those games that can be challenging without being cheap. Usually when a game annoys me enough to make me start feeling angry, which is rare anyway, I just stop playing it for awhile.

I was playing Dark Chonice (Dark Cloud 2) recently and the medal challanges are bullshit sometimes. After what felt like my 20th attempt at one spheda challange, I lost it and my Rock Band drum kit was unfortunate enough to be infront of me at the time.

I have it a smack that didn't feel too hard to me... and the green drum broke right off as if were held on by a toothpick.

Fortunately super-glue worked as far as repairing the plastic, but I don't know if they still actually work or not. I need to test them out at some point to make sure.

I guess technically it isn't the games fault but the angriest I think I've gotten is probably when I played World of Warcraft, and we had some phone issues, so every time the phone would ring, we would lose connection. Doesn't sound like much, but it pissed me off completely every time it happened.

Another time was while playing Soul Calibur 4, and attempting to get far in the tower. Nothing quite like attempting to kill Siegfried 10 times, and getting your ass handed to you, when suddenly, fate smiled, and things was going great, the guys fell like flies, and I got pumped as I reached the last guy, who I now had reasonable health to defeat. And I would have done it, if the cheap little prick hadn't thrown me out of the arena...

But the weird thing is, which has now started to somewhat worry me, nothing ever happened. I was angry, incredibly so, but it never reached further than punching my leg, or the wall, or making an angry face, and then looking down in disappointment. I barely ever get angry doing things, even when it should make want to smash things.

Heard. I play moba a lot myself, and have learned it. But the community is not happy about newbies apparently.

What buggers me more is those who have played it for a long time and still isn't worth anything game wise.
Agreed, though as I've found the community for DOTA-Style games are pretty much this. Even LOL. And to an extent, other F2P games like TF2, Global Agenda and a few others get this...despite the latter mentioned ones having a HUGE boost in numbers and popularity after going F2P.

Any game where you can see the enemy/bosses HP bar. When Its one hit away from death, It sort of keeps attacking me so I can't attack back (this actually happened to me in KH2 the other day, but there was no breaking involved. Just a lot of swearing).

I just remembered another occasion, this one causing me to ragequit the game. AssCreed Bros., trying to get the trophy for winning all five rounds of the fighting ring in the basement of the mercenary guild. Level's 3, 4, and 5, the one or two guys who infinitely dodge until the timer runs out. They do it over and over again until you've tried each rank a hundred times!!

Thankfully I now know that it simply is designed that way (the AssCreed fighting engine being crap) and that the way to win is to simple try and try again. Somehow, after so many tries, the opponent suddenly stops dodging. They give in because you've reached some invisible counter of attempts. .......... god was Brotherhood such a failure after AssCreed 2.
