Any game with jump puzzles tends to make me angry, unless by some fluke I complete said jump-puzzles first time. Otherwise I'd get angry and quit, maybe coming back later.

By FAR, the game "Super Pitfall" for the NES. That game practically brought me to tears. One-hit deaths, and you'd start over at the beginning of the level. On top of that, the worst controls ever seen in an 8 bit platformer. I've even tried playing it recently on emulation, and STILL can't finish the game.

I would still very much like to pummel whatever sadist created this satan-mindf--k of a game.

Any online multiplayer game I play for too long brings me to levels of anger I did not know I could reach before. TF2 is the current focus point for my hate. The idiots that infest the 360 version are just pathetic, and the lag is near unbearable. I don't know why I keep going back to that game, but I fear I may be masochistic.

GTA IV's also enrages me because I can't keep a save file on it, because every few days it freezes and takes my save with it, assuming I bothered trying to keep one. I tried different discs, and all of them do this. I actually threw my most recent copy at the wall once, which ironically seems to have made the game work for longer periods of time; though it may just be wishful thinking on my part to believe that violence solves everything.

The last boss in DOA 4. Generally she'll grab you, start hitting you, then keep hitting you until your a quadroplegic.

Also cod 4. I have my games where I rock and then my games where I just get my ass handed to me over and over and with a game where a split second is the difference between life and death and someone has a better connection then you the game becomes monumentally frustrating.

I belive homeworld with its cute little option to 'scuttle' set next to actually useful commands caused more than one swearing match, followed by a quickload. In my own experience I had just navigated all my resource gatherers across the map through dustfields so they wouldn't die to the solar radiation found everywhere else in the mission, then decided to make them explode. I mean stop.

A stupid number of hours into Pro Evo 7 on the PS3, so many wrong decisions, so many squandered shots, I had to turn the game off....

I'd have to say NFS: Carbon, The last race, or I think it was the last race where you go up against the idiot in the R8. I just couldn't win and I ended up nearly bashing in my LCD with the keyboard. I was playing this at a lan with my friends and they had to restrain me from destroying my PC.

I'm not proud of it but sometimes I get so into a game that I forget its just a game.

Am I the only person who remembers Aladdin for the Sega Genesis? The sheer frustration! I broke a controller that day, and went to my 56k modem and looked it up on gameFAQs, or whatever site I was using. Gamewinners?

But in more modern settings, it would be the Turtle Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus. Took me three months to beat because I'm not patient. Took a picture of the TV the day I did it.

Super mario galaxy is the only game that frustrated me so much I almost threw my wii, tv, and entire games collection into the recycling bin. the pixel-perfect timing of platformers does that to me sometimes, but SMG did it to me regularly. Still, got the 121 stars, and never felt better about completing a game, although Oblivion came close.
