That sounds fun.
I'm not really a fan of Angry Birds in the first place but I'd probably play this.
(Don't get me wrong Angry Birds is a well designed game, just not my thing.)
Best way I can see it working is if part of the fort is already built, and the pigs are in set positions, and you have to use the remaining materials to build the rest. Otherwise you'd just bunch them all up together at the back.
I was half expecting this to be a report about someone announcing a game like that.
Sounds like it could be interesting. Also like the idea mentioned about playing the "prequel" to Angry Birds where you're the pigs, stealing from the birds to get them angry. Could be a pseudo-stealth title!
Reminds me of the game where you play as the army in a danmaku. That was fun. 'Course you just ended up spamming a single unit that fired spread shots, but hey.
I actually would play that, but there is already a pretty famous game that sort of works with that idea.
It's called Cover Orange. Each level has a certain number of oranges and gives you a certain number of objects. You have to drag and drop the objects to get all of the oranges into safe cover for the...hail cloud or whatever it is comes by lol
Many critics have actually mentioned is as being kinda like Angry Birds from the Pig Perspective.
I like the sound of that since you will have limited resorce materials and the given amount of Pigs that you got to assemble all together to withstand the birds!
