Instead of slingshotting birds into a fort, you use limited materials to construct a fort capable of withstanding the bird onslaught.

That could be cool, but I don't know if the company would actually do that. Some third party group might, but it won't be official...

You could always make it a bit different, maybe 'Little Pigs' or something and they have to withstand an onslaught of wolves. :D

It could be the Angry Birds 'prequel'.

You play Pigs, stealing from Birds. Making them more and more angry.

That sounds fun.
I'm not really a fan of Angry Birds in the first place but I'd probably play this.
(Don't get me wrong Angry Birds is a well designed game, just not my thing.)

To hell with Angry Birds, this would be a nice twist on the catapult genre altogether.
I'd play it.

Best way I can see it working is if part of the fort is already built, and the pigs are in set positions, and you have to use the remaining materials to build the rest. Otherwise you'd just bunch them all up together at the back.

But yeah, interesting idea.

I was half expecting this to be a report about someone announcing a game like that.

Sounds like it could be interesting. Also like the idea mentioned about playing the "prequel" to Angry Birds where you're the pigs, stealing from the birds to get them angry. Could be a pseudo-stealth title!

I don't see why not. I mean there's a mode in Plants vs. Zombies in which you play as the zombies themselves.

Reminds me of the game where you play as the army in a danmaku. That was fun. 'Course you just ended up spamming a single unit that fired spread shots, but hey.

Sounds like Rampart, that was a great little game. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't made it to IOS come to think of it.

I actually would play that, but there is already a pretty famous game that sort of works with that idea.

It's called Cover Orange. Each level has a certain number of oranges and gives you a certain number of objects. You have to drag and drop the objects to get all of the oranges into safe cover for the...hail cloud or whatever it is comes by lol

Many critics have actually mentioned is as being kinda like Angry Birds from the Pig Perspective.

I like the sound of that since you will have limited resorce materials and the given amount of Pigs that you got to assemble all together to withstand the birds!

It seems devs are going into the whole "from the other perspective" thing.

I found this and found it quite entertaining.
but I dunno, maybe it just unleashed my secret desire to carry out a massacre... :p
