EDIT: Also, I want one of these:
That's a god. You can't genetically engineer a god. Only Dr. House could, and he's (a) specialised in infectious diseases and nephrology, not genetic engineering and (b) fictional.

On topic, I'd endeavour to recreate the pre-dinosauric creatures from Walking With Monsters. Who wouldn't love giant centipedes and dragonflies the size of people?
Eh wha-? I assumed it was a huge amphithere, not a freaking god. But I bet you are talking about Quetzalcoatl, right? For one thing, I don't think he was pictured as a thousand yard long serpent with wings.
Although you might not be able to replicate a god, you could replicate it's likeness. That's what this thread is about. I wasn't expecting it to have omnipresence or all that shit, I just wanted a fucking amphithere!

There are many renditions of the Mesoamerican Feathered Serpent deity, of which Quetzalcoatl is the Aztec version. He was depicted as anything from a man with a really big headdress to, indeed, a giant flying feathered serpent, and anything inbetween. (Plus, the image URL names the pic as Quetzalcoatl as well.)

Dire Wolf - much better (and spikier/bonier) than normal wolfs, can be used as steads, and because I'm such a D&D nerd I know all their strengths and weaknesses

A puppy sized elephant!
Also a large fluffy cat that doesn't moult, it would make an awesome pillow.

Me and my mate dream of one day owning a Tenta-Pig (Pig with tentacles).
This could make this dream come true.

Cat-Cow, or CowCat. Because sometimes I want to pat something fluffy, and sometimes I want to have a milk dispenser next to my computer, cos I like my coffee white.

Wouldn't the "cat part" just drink all the milk? :p

One fine day with a woof and a purr
a baby was born and it cause a little stir
no blue bug
no three-eyed frog
just a feline canine little catdog

catdog
catdog
alone in the world was a little catdog

out on the road or back in town
all the little critters put catdog down
trying to be brothers
trying to get along
trying to walk together
trying to sing this song

catdog
catdog
alone in the world was a little catdog

catdog

Obviously not when it has the flexibility of a cow, and hooves so it can't milk itself!

Jeez, I have to explain everything!

Well you only said cat/cow, never which part was which, and it just seemed a bit redundnat... but now I get your point. :)
(it would look fricking weird though... I think I'll stick to my spider squirrel.)
