Yep, it's another one of these, just looking for help in finding some awesome ones to watch.

What I like : Less than 40 eps, or at least reaches a conclusion. (No bleach/naruto/onepiece here)

And umm some that I have watched and liked before:

Im pretty sure you'll like Full Metal Alchemist, it got me into Anime and is full of awesomeness.

I've heard that hulu.com has a good selection, I'm also a member of animeftw.tv which has a tone of good ones. As for a series, I recommend Black Blood Brothers, Darker Than Black, Full Metal Alchemist, Afro Samurai, and I've heard wonderful things about Cowboy Bebop. Also I found some I hadn't heard of on hulu called Shigurui: Death Frenzy and Casshern Sins.
