Anime recommendations.

Yes yes, before any of you start, I know we get thousands of this thread, but I honestly have no idea what anime to look up.

I've recently finished Bleach(all that's out anyway) and Code Geass. Loved both of them but Code Geass more so =p

So anyway, armed with those two, recommend away!

Macross. Especially Macross Frontier.
You might also want to try Gundam, though I've only seen a bit of the first series so I don't really know which bits of it to reccommend.

You'd probably also like Death Note, if you liked Lelouch in Geass.

And if you want a massive ongoing Shonen, One Piece, because it's the best of the lot.

Asobi Ni Iku Yo!

Especially if you like catgirls. I just started watching it and I am loving it sooooo much. It is my only recommendation right now, although it is still ongoing and only on episode 8. It's just so fun to watch, though. I have others to recommend but I really want more people to watch that.

EDIT: Scratch that, it's on episode 9, not 8. And it kinda starts off perverted, but gets a little less perverted as the series goes on.

Good call. They're like 26 ep each but I believe they're worth it.

Well it all really depends upon what your tastes are. I personally prefer the weird, funny and the action-y.

My recs would be:
~Baccano! [13 ep](
it is like a pulp fiction anime, it has the above qualities)

~One Piece [464+ ep]
(usually a hit or miss shounen, action anime)

~Hare + Guu [26 ep. plus 6 extra ep. plus another 7 extra ep.]
(weird and funny. I couldn't stop laughing)

~Gintama [201 ep]
(The biggest hit and miss anime I know of. It is parody, humor and some action. Starts off slow for a few ep. but should you like it, hooray!)

If you want a laugh go for Soul Eater.

If you're looking for a more serious one go for maybe Death Note or Cowboy Bebop.
