Well, I never actually cry from watching a show or movie (I guess I'm just strange like that), but nothing was as sad as the movie "5 CM Per Second." It's just so... :(

The closest I've come to crying while watching an anime was during Hoshi no kaabii (Kirby of the Stars) specifically the ending of the episode 'Goodbye Snowman Chilly'. At least I think thats what its called. Also, some of the episode 'Sentimental Kirby'.

Clannad... that is all.

Oh and the ending of Code Geass R2. That also made me shed a tear.

God damn ninja... >_<
The ending of Code Geass R2 just made me angry.
Lelouch died by the hand of Zero who is now Suzaku.
Yes, it was all a part of Lelouch's grand plan in the end, but that didn't make me like it. I didn't want that ending. I admit that it was a proper ending. I admit that it was probably the best ending possible. But that doesn't mean that I wanted it to end like that. It was an awesome series, though.

OT: I can't think of any anime that made me cry. Or really anything that ever made me cry. I've felt bad for characters in a series/movie/book/game, but not to the point that it drove me to tears. Sorry.
lol... um. he is not dead Dude.. lol. Did you not understand the ending? He was going to Fool the World again in to making it a peaceful Place Who you thing is Driving the Horse Cart at the end With the witch on the back?
Wait. What!? But even Suzaku seemed to think he was dead. Why would he lie to his own friend? I did hear there was talk of a new series, so I guess that would make some sense. Still, everyone I know thinks he died. It's not often that we all misunderstand something like that.
Didnt he make himself invincible in one of the last episodes. Instead of his father. I really cant remember but something like that.

Also.. I think the ending was ment as them wanting the veiwers to think that it was the right thing to do. Honestly i believe he should have taken over the world and recreated it in his picture. Would have made for a much more original take on the hero goes villian style.

Beginning of FMA and Yu Yu Hakusho did it to me, those shows didn't waste time fucking around.

Also, when I was just a kid watching Pokemon and they had that episode where Ash tried to leave Pikachu with the other Pikachu's. You know, because he'll be happier with his own kind or some shit like that.

anime is for the weak
Well, it's always nice to have the unwelcome perspective of the cool kids.

OT: If the ending to Kannazuki No Miko doesn't illicit come kind of response from you (even just a little one, as was mine) then you have no soul.

Everyone else covered other ones, it feels kind of redundant to add more of the same.

When it comes to me and emotional movies or anime, I don't cry, but I'm in a state of shock and sometimes crying on the inside, however unfortunatly I dont watch too much anime (I really need to fix that), but my list consists of:

The chimera made from the doctors own child and her dog and her being killed by Scar later in the episode and the death and funeral of Hughs. To this day me and my sister have a moments where we just goes "HUGHS!!!!!!!WHY!?!"

and

Kamina dying left me in a state of shock so strong I was look at the screen several minutes after the episode ended, hoping that he would survive, and when it sunk it that he wouldn't I hesitated watching the next episode.
Also one of the final episodes where the crew starts dying in battle one by one.
And finally, that moment Yoko and Kittan share before Kittan gives his life to save the others.

The main ones I've had that I can remember are from the Dragonball franchise.

In Dragonball Z, two times. Once when Goku sacrifies himself to send Cell to King Kai's planet to prevent the villain from blowing up the Earth, and again with Vegeta's death during the Majin Buu saga, after having a touching moment with his son and sacrificing himself to destroy Buu.

And I cried at the end of Dragonball GT. Yes, even I want to treat GT as non-canon to the Dragonball franchise, but the end of GT just made me feel like the series was finally at an end. With Goku going to Shenron to the Dragon world, as he says his goodbyes to everyone.

Every damned time.

Also, DBZ and then GT when it ended. It was that moment that I realized that part of my childhood had ended.

EDIT: ninja'd with the DBZ thing by one post.

Elfen Lied kicked my face. First, the opening theme made me cry, and then, the ending made me cry. But I love it. Clannad (the first season) had me teary eyed.
