Just like for anyone to showcase any Anime with great looking animation.

I say this because most of the time Anime has the stigma of having either cheap/lazy animation, sometimes recycling certain frames often. Pokemon the show during the 3rd generation onward is very guilty of looking cheap.

So show me examples of quality done animated anime. And mind you I am not asking for as high a standard as Disney level animation like Hunchback of Notre Dame or Fantasia 2000's The Firebird Suite. For example I think One Piece even to this day still produces decent animation quality which I still find surprising from such a long running series. It also helps that it has a unique art style.

If One Piece is the standard for quality animation, I'm going to have to go with Konosuba.

Assuming you're only talking about anime series rather than feature films...

Nichijou is the most impressive anime I've seen in years, despite the rather simplistic artstyle. It's hard to find any scene in this show that feels static, even when it is.

And ofcourse there's One Punch Man.

You can mention movies if you want, so long as series are still mentioned aswell.

Like Cowboy Bebop the show still has stunning animation.

Mushishi is quite lovely in that respect, despite the repetitive character designs.

Fate/Stay and Fate/Stay night are well done in my opinion.
Depends on the version, doesn't it? Because it's my understanding that Ufotable's 2015 incarnation blows the others completely out of the water

Movies from Yoshiaki Kawajiri, like Ninja Scroll and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, are pretty well animated.

Also, Hellsing Ultimate, Afro Samurai (maybe? It's been a while since I've seen it), Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Monster, the new Evangelion movies probably.

Oh! Some fight scenes in Naruto were well done as well. Like Naruto vs Haku, Gaara vs Rock Lee and Hokage vs Orochimaru.

The new Berserk anime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111 [/painfully obvious sarcasm]

Since anime films are allowed, there are the Evangelion reboots. The animation is stunning. There's not much else to them though. Mamoru Hosoda's films (Wolf Children, Summer Wars, The Girl who Leapt through Time, The Boy and the Beast) also have a very distinct, always moving animation style that adds a lot to the characters.

Fate/Zero has downright incredible animation for a series. I didn't like it at all, but a lot of other people do.

I dont know if you're mocking that show or not, but if you are, you should probably look at that frame in context.

That one frame may look wonky, but it's part of a shot that's animated beautifully.

I can probably find an equally odd looking frame in Hunchback, too if I tried hard enough.
Konosuba can pull off some gorgeous shots, sure. But it's wildly inconsistent in quality, with some frames being outright wonky without purpose. *Edit: The show has it's strengths. Animation really isn't one of them.

I've been moving away from TV shows for this reason. Too many still shots, panning shots, mouth flaps, cheap backgrounds and CG models, generic but cheap to animate noseless and lipless character designs, and generally poor animations.

My picks are Akira and Spirited Away. Akira is still the only anime that has full lip sync, I believe. The characters are so expressive and there's so much movement throughout. It's stunning for an anime. Compare it to a movie from today, like Summer Wars, and the new generation starts to look pretty trashy.
Did you watch Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 on Netflix?
