Anno 2070, anyone got it?

But I am intrigued by it, finally someone made a game I dream off, a futurist sim city sort off.
But I never played any Anno before, can you guys make a more elaborate review of it or if is any good?

I saw this and it seemed interesting, but have no experience with Anno as a series (never heard of it before for that matter). Is it kinda like SimCity? It looks similar, but the trailer and screenshots on Steam only show graphics and no actual gameplay, so I have nothing to go on.

I downloaded the demo and yeah, that's exactly what it felt like, honestly.

I feel like the only game that did futuristic civilization well was Alpha Centauri, and that was because you could take terraforming to the extreme.

Better question is: can you make it work? Because the Steam forums has 10 pages of complaints that the game won't work, as it is still encrypted.

I know my copy doesn't work, and I'm a bit grumpy about that, as my husband just bought it for me...

I got a review copy here on my desk, I took one look at the cover and went "oh right yeah. Uhm anno 1404 but then with 2070 models. Next review game please."

Well, considering it has a 3-install Tages limit, I am not buying it despite owning everything else Sunflowers ever brought over here.
Sorry, Ubisoft. I can't justify paying full price for what amounts to an extra-long rental.
